Couple of things.

I read online on Saturday - one of the hacks on the BBC website that we paid way too much for Dom. I have to say I think we might have got value for money.

That’s 15 PL games unbeaten (10 wins, 5 draws) . Sounds like a stat but it’s actually a fact.

Agree that Szoboszlai’s showings so far point to value for money. He’s looking like what we hoped Keita would be. Pace, power, dynamism, creativity and goals from midfield.

He’s probably the same hack who claims United got a bargain for Mount (they didn’t, they were robbed blind and fair play to Chelsea) . Szobo looks like a proper number 8. He’s got the skill, dynamism, pace, work rate and end product. I think we’ve got value for money on him and MacAllister. I also think that Gravenberch will work out as the environment is better for him, he’s got friends in the team to help him settle and a manager who will nurture his talent. Feels like we’re in a decent place at the moment.

Dom provides that engine that we've sorely missed since Gini left and Hendo lost his legs. Constantly pressing and tracking back, the man has stamina to burn!

Yay, we’ve replaced Gini, although at 22 and clearly with all the skills in place to be a very, very good player, in a couple of years I don’t think there’ll be any meaningful comparison between the two.

ViktorVaughan, prolly the same guy who thinks we got robbed when we signed Darwin who had scored 37 goals in all comps. at Benfica while at the same time, thinking that Utd got a steal for signing a striker for near the same price after said striker had scored 9 pathetic goals in the Serie A the the season before he came to the PL.

I can taste his salt all the way from here.
