Liverpool have zero chance of siging Aurélien Tchouaméni, The player has zero interest in Joining Liverpool and he has made that clear, Liverpool are not even in any discussions etc.

Midfielders they are in discussions with and actually hold an interest are Kalvin Phillips, Roméo Lavia, Florintino Luis and Khephren Thuram.

Doubt Jörg was brought in on a short term contract just to sign one player, Szoboszlai (think Ward signed Macallister), so assuming at least one or two more to join.

If he’s been brought in to balance the books and drive the wage bill down (as it’s been a big concern to some fans) then he’s certainly done the job.

JK23, Although we have some good internal options (Jones, Harvey, Baj, etc for depth, I do not know one LFC supporter that thinks this window is done, especially after developments the last week. Hang in there mate, something should pop and having Ed002 say business is not over helps.

@Magico, a starting midfield of Mac Alister, TAA and Szoboszlai, is probably stronger than anything we had last year given virtually everybody’s form dipping. I think the problem is if the one or more of the three mentioned are injured / lose form then our levels potentially dip.
