Well ed1 any chance villa do us a favour at weekend? they've the forward players to cause city problems just don't think they good enough at back to hold off a top team like city.

Villa rush into a 2 goal lead and then they can do a West ham for all I care! What an amazing title race, what a season! No matter how the next week and a bit turn out, as a football fan, you can't be disappointed with how it's played out!

I think Gerrard likes to be positive so won't want to sit back but City have scored really early in so many matches lately and then the opposition just caves in. Villa need to be tight early on, shut out City's inevitable early attacks. If they can get through 20 mins intact, then who knows.

We're assuming we will win, so if we can get ahead whilst City are still level, then the anxiety and pressure might just start to come into it.

Personally I don't think it will happen but we've given ourselves the chance.
