Just a thought on traore it may not be just about his end product, his pace and power will draw more opposition players to him potentially creating more space for others to create and score.
Against tiered legs could be a handful.

A battering ram on the right creating space for the likes of Mane or Jota to get into positions. I see what you mean but Traore would still need to find these players in space with a pass and he never looks up or passes when he goes forward, just heads into the corner flag head down until he loses the ball.
If Klopp can turn him into a decent player it will be up there with his greatest achievements for me.

Bobby creates that much space I don’t think it’s physically possible to create anymore.

Traore certainly isn’t the finished article, but he’s also a player that can be unplayable at times, which is not something that comes along very often. I personally would rather have Sarr, but if he signs I think he will be dangerous of the bench in a way that Origi and Shaqiri just aren’t.

How many teams do we play that give space for him to run into? Hardly any. In fact almost all of them park the bus. Buying a player for a problem that doesn’t exist.

With his physique, I think Traore will be taking up more space than he creates, really.

{Ed0666's Note - touché 😂

He’s a sunday league player trapped in the body of a greek god. 25 years old and is still nowhere near having enough quality on the ball to play for a top side. The requirements are completely different, without space to work with and run into Traore will be absolutely useless for us.

Playing against packed defences in a low block, as we often do, how is Traore meant to build up a head of steam? You’ll be asking him instead to control the ball in tight spaces and turn, or ask him to provide quality passes under pressure.

These are things that our front three, or indeed any forwards playing for a top side, are very good at. I don’t think Traore is capable of meeting those expectations in a million years. I’ve never once been annoyed at any signing Liverpool have made, i’m always hoping to be proven wrong and once a player joins the club they deserve our full support.

However, i can say with the utmost confidence that signing Traore would be an unmitigated disaster and is a signing i do not support one bit. We probably had a better chance of getting a tune out of Balotelli. There’s a reason Wolves regularly bench him and are now trying to flog him.
