Thanks Ed001 great read as usual! I’m delighted that we are finally getting to see the real Thiago now, makes me excited for next season.

Thanks for the report, I do wonder how Wijnaldum is still being played? And if Jones has done something wrong!
I understand Jones has been injured and is only young so maybe they are just easing him down for a nice long rest this summer. And then he can be ready to take Gini's place in the side. Or is it a more tactical decision with Thiago being in the midfield, Klopp thinking he needs a more defensive player and trusts Gini to do that. Gini can be such an attacking threat when he wants to be, those forward runs give teams a headache with not knowing who to pickup.
But he isn't doing that enough and at times I do wonder if he wants to be on the pitch and just thinking about where he will be next season. Would it not be better giving Jones more game time or is Klopp just going with who he trusts to get 4ht place? Just thinking out aloud, not having a go at Gini or Klopp just interested in peoples opinions!

I do wonder if Klopp is reining Jones in to try and keep him grounded. His behaviour has been cocky and embarrassing at times over the last few months.

Embarassing?

He embarrassed himself at the end of the England Croatia U21 match.

So your opinion is off the back of one incident where we have no idea what was said or what he was reacting to? If even half of his team mates had cared as much as he did, England's u23's might not have gone out of the tournament in the group stages so meekly. In that final game Jones and Eze nearly saved the rest of the squad from embarrassment. Those 2 should've started the first 2 group games. Showing a bit of passion at full time when the opposition were clearly being disrespectful with their celebrations is not a problem for me. He needs to learn to control his passion so it doesn't spill out into aggression, but at least it showed how much he cares. Would you rather he walked off having a little giggle like Eden Hazard did the other night?

Cocky and embarrassing? Yes, he lost his head in that game but how did you come to that conclusion. It happens to the best of players, let alone one that just turned 20 years of age four months ago.

Not just one incident MK. He's been in spats with his own teammates on the pitch in the past. His posts on social media about"REAL fans" just come across as cocky to me. He gets paid enough to let it be water under the bridge. I don't agree with fans moaning to players when they lose but if you're a player, for god's sake, get your head down and just make them shut up.

Re the Croatia incident, I don't see it as passion either. I see it as him acting like Billy Big B and being a sore loser. To make it into a physical altercation is embarrassing so yes I would rather he acted like Hazard the other night. "Passion" is not an excuse to be a sore loser, be unprofessional and get physical and I think Klopp would agree with me there.

It’s ironic someone with as many bad takes as rufus calling Curtis Jones embarrassing.

Must be hard being perfect Rufus. kids being good for us all season, he should be far from embarassed at how well he's done this year.

Whatever guys. If you want to fawn over everything a player does just because he plays for Liverpool that's up to you. But 20 is more than old enough to not behave stupidly like that. If a 16 year old on less than the minimum wage behaved liked that in his job, he would be given the sack. So yes, I do expect a lot more from him. And I think he should get his head down and be grateful for the opportunity he's got instead of making stupid digs at fans on social media.

It isn't just him but generally I don't like the attitude of a lot of footballers coming through from premier league academies these days. It's like they want to have their cake and eat it. Dealing with criticism is a small price to pay for the benefits that come with being a premier league footballer.
