When Harvey barnes was linked with us in the summer it was laughed at but he is maturing into a great player if salah or mane leave he could do big things for us .

Barnes is not even better than Jota, who is nowhere near Salah’s immense ability. Neither of them are. IMO, If people think any old winger out there can just come in here and replicate the world class ability and production of Salah then, they are in for a shock.

Precisely OliRed. Salah for where he plays is an anomaly. His numbers will be hard to find, if you are going wide man for wide man. Haaland on the other hand is the one I see that can replicate his goal scoring stats but through the middle, with Mane and Jota either side. With all that being said I would prefer he stays but if he goes, we should be going down that avenue.

Hailstones, Compared to Salah and Mane, Barnes is indeed any old winger. Just facts, bro. Also, I am not interested in what Barnes will b cos nobody really knows that. I am interested in what he is now and for right now, the gulf in class between he and Jota is insane, IMO and Jota just got here. Here are my reasons.

Barnes has been at LC for his 3rd season and I am yet to see if he can step it up whereas Jota came into arguably the best team in Europe over the past three seasons and has improved it. Just facts, bro.

IMO, Jota has a much better chance at replacing Salah and Mane right now than Barnes does and even for that to happen, Jota has a tonne of work to do to get to the Balon D’Or levels both boys play at and Barnes will have to work as hard to get to Jota’s level, IMO .
