Have to say that a certain No.6 was probably the best player in the CL Final. In the right place every time. Vision!

Thiago is quality, no doubt. The guy is like a point guard in Basketball. He sees things before anyone does. Runs the midfield and dictates the tempo of the game and most importantly, seems to have eyes all over him hence, can look one way and clip a pass the other way with precision, throwing the opposition into chaos. Boss player!

Ed can I ask in what way would we need to change mate please to slot him in? I kinda no what you mean I think, he needs a bit more time on the ball so might have to play in a 2 man holding maybe?

I don't know a thing about Thiago Ed, but it seemed he was playing a holdibg midfield roll tonight, continually trying to keep the ball moving, (he was pretty good at it I thought) similar to what fabinho has offered us. How could we change our tactics to facilitate both fabinho and Thiago? In your opinion could this help us to break down teams who sit deep/ play 3 at the back as I have seen that to be a weakness of ours this past season.

Thiago can easily press like the others, unlike the others though he will get the ball to the front 3 much quicker and through the eye of a needle.

Surely playing for Barcelonas great team a few years ago he has the pressing side of the game in his locker. They won the ball back bery quickly after losing it.

Ed02, Ljinders has spoken about how critical Fabinho's role as a DM is in our system so I am not sure if he will have to be sacrificed to accommodate Thiago even tho Thiago is more of a DLP than a true DM like Fabinho, IMO.

If Klopp wants him then, it is prolly to play a specific role in the team that I don't know of yet, just like Gini had to adapt his game to what Klopp wanted when he signed. Just my take.
