Start of the season 8 wins and a draw, top of the league. All is good but we must play much better v Spurs. Salah back next week. Keep the faith it is a massive few weeks coming up.

It's in our hands.

I'm with you mark. The team have to play better.

Something was wrong. I somehow feels it could be down to mental part. Probably they weren't respecting the opponent enough ended up they didn't turn up entirely. Could be down to overconfidence. Honestly, I don't know what was wrong.

All in all, the last 10 minutes or so, they started to show a bit more. They managed to get a draw, and I hope the next games will be win, win, and win.

Just getting over the initial pain, then putting things in perspective. We were really awful but got a point. I would of taken 8 points from the 4 games so we are still on course for that and a good lead over City.

Wish our fans wouldn't come on social media and forums like this spouting nonsense claiming we're going to roll teams like Man United over away from home.
Sell Salah is another one. Listen to yourselves! It was a good point in the end, But overall a day to forget.

What on Earth is Shaq doing in training to have slipped so far down the pecking order? Nowhere near the first team when you'd have thought with Salah out it would be his sort of game to come in and shine.

Markp08- good perspective of the big picture in that post. Spurs are struggling and not playing as a team and next Sunday is the best time to get this fixture chalked off. At anfield we nearly always control the games against big 6 so if we can get the 3 points there we would be in a strong position in the overall picture. 10 games in if we can have 28 from possible 30 points having already played 4 of the other 5 big teams and collected 10 of 12 points we have to be delighted with that. Of the other 9 teams we have yet to play, the big one against city is soon. We then have a run of fixtures that we've shown over the last 18 months we drop very little points to teams outside top 6. As we've shown, we struggle after 2 week breaks and play our best when in the rhythm of constant games so I expect us to get back winning and collecting 3 points with our squad now in a healthy state with keita, OX and allison adding much strenght.

Silvered,
No Shaq shine possible, because he is injured.

And, his place in the match day squad would likely be Lallana’s, who scored.

Spot on, LFC08. I said it many times on here before the game, Strange things happen at OT. We have to be ready for anything and it seems we were not. Utd played like the midtable team they are and we knew they would not come after us at first. We did not seem to repond well to this until middle of the first half. We then concede a real "ghost-goal" and that was tough to take BUT we responded well with the Mane goal even tho it was correctly chalked off (dumb rule, IMO) .

When Utd is gifted a goal like that, we were literally playing on their terms cos they are a counter attacking team and we were playing into their hands cos we had to take risks. They STILL could not hurt us. It was a difficult time getting openings vs a back 10 BUT we made the right changes (Klopp gets mass props for this) and not only did we persist and get the goal, we could have won it with a bit of luck. Either way if Utd need all the help in the world from you-know-who to get a point at OT vs us then I think we're good. Top of the PL and undefeated, 25 points out of 27. On to Spurs.
