Question for the Ed’s.

Have Liverpool looked at Bruno Guimares?

I think he’d be a quality addition especially for the LCM position if we signed an out and out CDM.

I believe we had looked at him prior to his Newcastle move but I could be wrong.

Newcastle now has the richest owners in the premier, they no longer have to sell their best players, especially their best top, top egg.

If he wanted to leave though they still have to be careful how they handle the situation. There are still many teams that are a more attractive proposition than Newcastle and if they hold on to players against their will then some players may think twice about joining them in the future.

I’m not saying he wants to leave, but it’s more complicated than just how much money Newcastle have.

Back in the day Man U didn’t need to sell Ronaldo, they didn’t want to sell him, but when Real Madrid wanted him they still did.

He's such a good player - probably the best PL midfielder this season alongside Odegaard. A real miss by our recruitment team last January.

I believe we missed out on Odedaard when he went to Madrid. He's turned out to be a quality player regardless of the numerous posters saying he wouldn't mount to much.
