Ed's the Athletic reporting fsg have put the club up for sale, any truth there and any idea of interested parties?

{Ed002's Note - Redbird will be interested but may need partners.}

Wow, to think FSG is leaving before Klopp - this news is quite a surprise.

ED002 - do RED BIRD own AC Milan?

{Ed002's Note - Yes. But they can easily change the structure to remove a potential issue. Remember they are not investing their own money but other peoples.}

Ed's in your opinion, do you think this means hedge funds or petro states will be the next guardians of LFC?
Does this mean City/ PSG levels of spending are about to enter the chat, and in your opinion, would Klopp walk away if so?

{Ed002's Note - I suspect discussions with Redbird will try and find a solution whilst the appointed advisors look for other interested parties. No doubt there will be a couple alreday - I will see if I can find out.}

Ed002, I know the news is very recent. Do you know what's the asking price of FSG? Last year they had someone from Middle East with a 3bn proposal but FSG rejected it.

{Ed002's Note - It is likely not going to be that simple as it may include equity exchange.}

Would someone like sir jim ratcliffe be interested? He did try to buy chelsea few months ago.

{Ed002's Note - Jim Ratcliffe is a Manchester United supported although he has been a season ticket holder at Chelsea. I doubt he would be interested in Liverpool.
