Linked with Matt O’Riley from Celtic today. Would have played with Elliott and Carvalho at Fulham so we could have been keeping an eye on him since.

I watched him a fair bit in League 1 and he was miles ahead in quality than the rest. But whether he is Liverpool quality I'm not so sure. He can certainly pick a pass but I don't think he will be able to offer the mobility we'd need as he had quite a bad injury, hence his release by Fulham.

The money that Chelsea are throwing to sign Gordon should brighten you up Ed. I don't think he is worth that much. Anyways he is used poorly by Lampard. In all this, Gordon will be the biggest loser. Strange move at this juncture of his career.
