Would seem a feasible way of thinking, i mean if you were Juventus and knew that you were most likely to lose Pogba this summer or January, you would only have to look at how well Emre is doing at the Under21s and the promise he's shown as a midfielder to consider him a viable option for them, though if you asked me he'd be a starter for our side anyday!

Yeah I think he'll definitely get games next season, but from the looks of things, it's going to be as a CB again. Unless we play him in CM instead of either Milner, Lucas, Henderson, Coutinho, fml there are so many.

FSG won't let him leave yet. They will want his stock a lot higher. Also BR will see him as a key member of that back 3/4, especially given the fact Sakho isn't all that. A CB who can carry the ball out and feed the midfield. maybe an option!!

Why would they play him centre back, he has said he has been assured to play centre midfield, he is a centre midfielder so play him there. If he's being told he will be centre back even though we have Sakho, Lovren, Ilori, Skrtel (if he stays), Wisdom and others I'm sure he will be more than happy to go to Juventus

"Sakho isn't all that". PollyJnr, have you ever actually watched Mamadou Sakho? He's our best centre back by a country mile. He may look awkward at times, but he's a far better defender than he gets credit for. Skrtel is the one you should be pointing your finger at. Apart from four or five good performances this season his appearances were cluttered with mistakes, rash challenges and poor defensive decisions. The majority of goals we concede by strikers beating the offside trap are the fault of Skrtel. The fact that you say Sakho isn't really that good makes me question your understanding of football.

That's what I've been trying to say Wilkop.Sakho has to be 1st choice CB and as for Skrtel don't get me started he is always one rash challenge away from either a red card or a pen.It would be absolute madness to keep him and get rid of Skrtel but it looks like Skrtel's agent is trying to drum up interest in him.

And Can is all that at CB, Polly? You must have slept through all the poor games he had both at CB and FB down the stretch (no fault of his own) where managers would consistently target him time and again and all BR did was stand and watch w/o doing a thing to protect him. he`s a CM and WILL play there next season. We have enuff CB`s so why should he be a CB? Pointless post, really.
