Does anyone think Coutinho could "do a Keita"?
That is, we agree to sell him now for him to leave at the end of the season when Keita comes in. Barcelona get one more season out of iniesta . etc.
Coutinho happy because his opportunity has not passed him by, we have a seamless transition and he doesn't get discontented at Barcelona behind Iniesta in the pecking order next season.
Just a thought.

This is what the club has been suggesting to Coutinho/ his people, but it has got nowhere.
Get rid of him now, he's shown his true colours by the way he has acted (both by courting Barcelona for years and in the last month) and the club is now rightly looking to a future without him.
We've made over a 1000% profit on him in 4 years. Let him go to the troubled Barcelona and move on in making our team better.

If you watch hits games for benfica he plays as a b2b centre mid who occasionally plays more advanced. got to question the motivation of 22yo already being linked with China . Good player though.

Let's hope skrtel gets injured and bodgers is forced to play sahko with lovren on the right. Not ideal but seems like our last hope because skrtel and sahko didn't work last season
