I wouldn't even want Gerrard back training with us. We have the most exciting manager we have had in years, working with a young squad, it's a fresh start, let's not upset the apple cart. This'll probably get slated, but ed001 is right, Gerrard has had his time.

Yeah I don't understand it being done in Feb, why would city make the two bids that were rejected if an agreement was already in place.

Agree with both Ed002 and Redinthewrong way, it's the differing opinions of who people believe would or wouldn't take us to the next level and the discussion that creates, and therefore the hope that we do or don't sign whoever you believe those players are.
Personally, I used to get so invested in it, checking gossip columns and this site throughout the day and then getting caught up in the Sky hype of deadline day. However, since we've had Jurgen it doesn't bother me anymore, I think he's the best signing we could make and have complete faith in what he will do with the players we have and trust in who he will sign.

When he said win a title, I don't believe he was specifically referring to the Premier League, I think he meant win a trophy in general within 4 years.

That's an incredibly naive stance to take, 77. Mental illness is exactly that, an illness. It doesn't discriminate. The same way as cancer could strike down a millionaire, depression or any other mental illness could befall a professional athlete.

What are these charges Ed? I seen Ed002 allude to them earlier on another post?
{Ed001's Note - he claimed the club was engaged in the tapping up of players, which has led to questions being raised. Questions which would lead to an investigation where he to return to the club.}
