Hi Eds

A few reliable journalists (tony barret, joyce, Hunter) saying that we will move for pedro if and when sterling moves on. Do you think this could happen; do you rate pedro, I think he's quality but what do i know, I thought luis alberto would be a gem.

you 2 eds are the bees knees and the spiders ankles.

{Ed001's Note - he is someone we have had interest in for a long time now, so it could be a possibility yes. As for rating him, no. He is quick and can finish, but that is it. He is mostly completely ineffective unless coming off the bench.}

Why on earth do people keep saying Tony Barrett is a reliable source, don't think he's ever been right about anything LFC, it's almost like saying the Echo knows something.

He's been right about tons of stuff re: LFC. Barrett, Pearce, Joyce, Hunter are all pretty reliable.
Having interest doesn't always mean we'll follow it up though. We've had interest in a lot of players we haven't signed. Doesn't mean they were lying when they said it.

Ok Jimmy - examples where Barrett has been right, he is just another journalist that jumps on rumours and hopes he may get one right, and claim a scoop. He knows nothing about what goes on at LFC .

Whats happening with thiago ilori. thought he was to get a chance this season i think he's quality but havnt seen him in the pre season games.

He's still on holiday following the Euros and should be due back to Melwood very soon. Think he will get opportunities in the cup games probably alongside Toure. I'd say the same for Gomez but can see him being played at left back.

Hi eds. Thanks for the constant updates. what's the deal with baccas release clause? I've read in 2 papers its £12M and in others its £22M?

Also who would you think would be better for us Bacca or Benteke?? Have we realley given up on Benteke or is that just the papers speculating??

Agreed. Prefer no one to Benteke. Bacca would be a shout though. Firminio, Illara and Bacca would be a great window. Clyne I'm not too fussed about either way. Keep Ilori. I think Lallana will have a big season coming up.

Just wondering if there would be anything stopping Liverpool snapping up Lukaku? Would chelsea try and block a move because were competitors? I think he's a beast and still young. I know u said athletico were intrested. but would we have a chance after Teeth completes his move to Barca?
