Sturridge - great player and he is a likeable person. One Q - if you owned a company and one of your highest earners was never there, what would you do? I can't see anyone buying him so I think it is typical Mirror crap. If this gut can beat his injuries, there ain't that many strikers I'd rather have.

Get behind him fellow Pool fans. Most important thing - we beat the Mancs next Sun!

Valid point u make, but when your highest earner happens to be missing a lot and still outperforms and offers more than a lot of your other assets it would be folly in ways to remove said asset. Currently our 2 players that would seem capable of easing the burden of Danny's absence are both injured themselves, with 1 still needing a bit of development and time to grow, being Origi, the other while hopes are high and we have no doubt he can score and will but will also leave everything he has on the pitch, being Ings. We need to hold onto Sturridge. Fingers crossed Big Ben has something click in his head and it comes together for him but in this moment the signs ain't there. Danny was the first Liverpool related name my son managed to spit out so for that reason alone he stays lol.

In this moment, I believe.

Build the team without him in mind. Then when he does become fit he'll be an addition.

DBol - That is the only way we could keep him in my opinion. Make him a bonus rather than a necessity. The only problem for me then would be his wages which are rather substantial for someone that rarely plays.

To say its a tricky one for Jurgen is almost underlying his abilities as a manager. Obviously almost every manager in Europe would want a fit DS in their squad and Every Prem manager without question would have a git n firin DS as their main striker. No matter what you think of Costa or Kane Lukaku et el other than Aguero he is still Number One EPL striker. But what the hell do you do with an employee who reguses to work. Contract signed so the law is the law. The law maybe an ass in our eyes but he has to be paid. Suarez would go on the pitch for you with one leg. Unfortunately for us Reds DS is not made of the same stuff. Hand on heart if you were any and I mean any of the other Prem managers would you go to your chairman and say " I want to put a bid in for DS" and if you were a chairman would you say " Now you're talkin" let's break d bank n get in there. The £12 Mill we oaid was a steal but the wages he has picked up is spiralling out of control taking into account hos lack of playing time.
Klopp ain't no fool but he has his work vut out here my friends.
