Rumour flying round that we have spoke to Lyon about a move for lacazette and we are willing to pay the €30 million asking price for him, hope there is some truth in this much prefer him to benteke

A wind-up on the main forum. Whoever the striker, I just hope we get it done soon-ish. I am slowly coming over to the Benteke camp, and if he signs officially I will support him with all my heart, doubts or not.
Still quietly hoping for Kovacic as well, I don't know why but I am hell-bent on that transfer ever since ed02 reported the looming possibility. I want another Inter wonderkid darn it!

Having seen Kovacic play about a dozen times, some of the games live, I think we should be going after the young lad. Could do a good job for us & an excellent long term prospect.

In an ideal world we'll get Lacazette and Kovacic and the Ings valuation will put us off and see him going to Spurs.
None of this will happen and we'll be woefully short again next season. Danny Ings is no better than Borini but I'm not allowed to say that because ED02 will have a pop and say I'm another bitter Liverpool fan ("worst fans in the world")!!
Just for the record, I've never needed plastic flags or pub-singers with microphones on the side of the pitch to get me up for a football game. I've also earned the right to say what I want about my football club and, at the moment, I think we are going sideways until Rodgers and the "transfer committee" are replaced or realise that we need a GK, DM and Striker. The DM position can be managed with what we've got but, under Rodgers, I doubt it will be.
