LFC usually do little business in the winter transfer window but we have occasionally signed big with Gakpo, Diaz, and Van Dijk all arriving in the winter window.

To me this tells two stories, we are a well run team and there is no need to panic buy (exception the center back crisis) but it tells me if the right player could be recruited then it will happen.

Not sure how confident the coaching staff and manager are with Endo but this will be a test to see if we buy as this could be seen as a potential gap in the squad.

Also with our Greek scouser out that will mean Gomez is viewed as a left back rather than a center back until Robbo returns leaving us only with Virgil, Konate and Quansah to cover the CB positions.

It will be an interesting window, I am not suspecting anyone in but LFC have proven to find the cash when needed, I wonder if our hand is forced as it was with Gakpo and Diaz.

personally, think the squad is solid as is and there is no need for any incomings. Unless, as you say, there is a player we want in Summer that suddenly becomes attainable in January. Regards Endo, I hope we back him. The guy is coming good and last thing I think we need is a high priced CDM to come in and take the second half of the season to acclimatize.

You can’t rest on your laurels in this game.

Arsenal will get their striker. City will spend heavily again. Spurs Villa etc can smell UCL they will all gamble with signings.

We’re in desperate Desperate need of a DM and a CB so do the right thing, get the cheque book out, and go straight into the market on the 1st of Jan aggressively, and sign 2 left forwards ??.

I think if we strengthened in January in 2009/ 2014/ 2019 we win 3 more titles. January signing doesn’t mean it’s a panic. We have holes in the squad and a chance to fill them we should make use of the window.

If there’s a deal to be done, LFC has shown that they will push the boat out to do so. If there isn’t, they won’t and I’m fine with either outcome.

LFC08, what laurels are we resting on? This team under the rebuild, has achieved nothing yet so I don't get your point on that part. Also and IMO, I highly doubt that Napoli will sell Osihmen to Arsenal after he just signed a new deal days ago unless they want to pay even more than the 120m Napoli wanted before hand.

Also, I doubt, Brentford who are in a near relegation scrap, will sell them Toney esp. xith Mbeumo being out for a couple of months and Wissa being their only fit striker. I don't see any of this happening. Of course, I could be wrong.

As for us, if there is a deal to be done, the club will explore it. If there isn't, they will keep their powder dry till the summer. That is the way we have always done business, laurels or not. It is what it is.
