Good morning all my fellow reds hope I find you all well.

Now that the dust has settled after yesterdays truly amazing performance which may I add was the opposite to everything that was wrong with the utd game, may I take my hat off to all the lads for
showing what we really are about.

Well done lads super performance never gave up from start to finish really impressive stuff its what we've come to expect from you all over the last few years.

However you can only beat what's in front of you and let's be honest Bournemouth are favourites to go straight back down on their current form. We are only as good as our next game and that's at home again against a very good Newcastle on Wednesday night, they will be a completely different kettle of fish to what we faced yesterday.

If we get a solid performance and hopefully a win against them then I will believe we are back on track and hopefully a few off our injury list may slowly start to return to help strengthen us up.

Don't forget one swallow never made a summer but let's just hope that yesterday was the turning point in our season and that our mental monsters are once again back in ernest to push it all the way again this season. Fingers crossed for Wednesday night and another solid performance we go again.

I tell you who is knocking on the door for a start. It’s young Carvalho. He’s only played 84 mins in the league but he’s made a good impression in all of those appearances and I think he’s had a chance to score in all 4 whilst other more established players didn’t show up in some of those games.

I think we might have found a diamond in the rough here and once Klopp finds a position for him to start in with this squad I think he’ll continue to go from strength to strength.

I agree with nearly everything said, but I do think it's a bit harsh to judge Bournemouth on current form, considering they won their first game and then played Arsenal, Man City, and then us. There's a very real chance that the last three games could lead into a downward spiral, but it seems hard to judge them off that so far.

The perfect scenario in which to introduce young and inexperienced players, 4 or 5 up, at home.
I agree though, Carvalho looks a good ‘un.

Carvalho has been one of the few bright sparks so far. I like what I have seen from him as well. There are am positions up for grabs, he already looks the best we have in carrying the ball forward at pace.

It was much more like a Klopp Liverpool team. Plenty of raw intensity, and for 90 minutes too. Can’t say we’ve seen 90 minutes of intensity for a long long time.

Let’s use this as a benchmark and build on it as we will face much sterner opposition.
