Why just 3?
Klopp is very influenced by Ole and Mr Southgate, that’s why we’ve got all those centre backs.
We’re going 7 CBs playing a high line, with Robbo and Trent pushing on from wide.
We’re selling all our midfield and forwards except Salah, who plays up top.
Alisson goes up for corners and set pieces.

I very much doubt it. As far as I'm aware, klopp's never played 3 at the back, and by doing so you change fabinho's role in the team to the detriment of the player, in my opinion. I'm pretty sure konate and gomez are fighting for the same position, which is RCB and back up RB.

I would expect Williams to go out on loan. That leaves 6 CB's. On paper 3 at the back with wing backs and Fabinho looks defensive but it frees up all of those in front of them to provide the attacking impetus add Henderson and the only place up for grabs I would give to Jones. Hopefully we add it as an option, time to give teams something to think about when it comes to our formation.

I absolutely loathe this new gimmick of managers needlessly switching between 3 and 4 at the back to try and seem clever. Obviously some managers such as Conte and Tuchel set their teams up like that anyway, and that’s fine, but switching between 3 and 4 at the back doesn’t get you anywhere. Rodgers did it, Pochettino did it, Lampard did it, and the performances of their teams took a drastic downturn as a result. It’s a complicated system to play and it must be an absolute nightmare for players to try and adapt to.

Thank god we have a manager who understands the importance of stability in the team and playing your own game. I think if the 3 aforementioned managers had adopted this most basic of footballing principles then they would have won a lot more.

We sort of play 3 at the back now when everybody was fit Gomez VVD and Fabinho in front with everybody else pushing forward.
