Stats aren't necessarily indicative of how good a player is, but I found it interesting that Alisson has the highest save success percentage (78%), the highest clean sheet percentage (55%), and also the lowest goals against per 90 minutes (0.58) in the league. Save percentage being the one that stands out to me. Room to grow as well, what a keeper.

A slightly better understanding with Van Dijk and less of the Brazillian flair next season and he is golden.

Statistics are more relevant to goalkeeping than other positions. Those stats speak volumes.

Yep, he’s some player, although of the stats, only saves is a personal measure.

Clean sheets and goals against are both as reliant on the rest of the teams defensive capabilities as his own skill.

How were the quality of those shots at him? There's a stat for that isn't there I think. He likely faced fewer 1 on 1 scenarios than De Gea, for instance.
That said, what a keeper, what a guy. I'm still pinching myself that we signed him after all that Butland talk.

Saves is not a measure at all. He could have faced 10 shots a games, saved 5 let in 5, and have the most saved in the league?

Save percentage is a decent measure, but you're right, it doesn't factor in the quality of the shots. However, STATS analyst Paul Power employs a model that assesses how likely a keeper is to save a specific shot and found that Alisson saved 0.31 goals per game more than average, the best in the league.
