I know it sounds stupid but I'm not disappointed. It's been a phenomenal, enjoyable, intense season and, despite our tremendous play, we have come up that little bit short. I feel fine with that, the club is headed in an excellent direction, we're managed well and playing well, and still have a Champions League final to look forward to. Next season is another chance to topple City and try and grab that elusive title number 19, I'm looking forward to it.

Hats off to City as well, they've been excellent and, as the saying goes, the league never lies.

After some self reflection, I have to agree with Seano. Many of us, myself included, have looked at one or two results as the reason we lost the league. All I can say is this, when you have the third highest point total in premier league history, you have only one loss, you have the golden glove winner, the golden boot winner, and the player of the year and finish second, all you can do is tip your cap to the champions and say well done. No doubt the lads are disappointed, I just hope that they channel that disappointment into a fantastic finish as Champions League winners. I'd still call that a successful season.

Very much so. I agree with both of you. Once we let them get in front I was never confident. We weren't good front runners but 97 points you can't question that. What makes it a whole lot better to take is that somehow we made another final.

Stone - if we win the 6th it will be very much a great season.

Agree mate. I thought that deep down I would feel upset and bitter if we lost this after the season we just had. Surprisingly though the only feeling I have is of immense pride for the lads and respect for City. Well played to both teams.
We go again!

great point mark. If we get in front next season with this core group, I don't see them letting the lead slip again. I think they learned a great deal this season and they will only get better.

I think it's safe to say that City and LFC are the two best sides in Europe. I don't think you can say LFC lost it as much as City won it. Now we got one more to win and I would consider this the best season and team I have ever witnessed since following this wonderful club. I hope no one is disappointed and appreciate what we all witnessed.

Eds and all posters thanks for a magical season, and now let's "WIN IT 6 TIMES"
