Hi ed
Could you explain more about the klopp cheating and lying apart from the grujic example if you get a chance and also how this affects the club in the future and if other managers/ clubs do similar
Thanks.

{Ed002's Note - You just want to drag it out more then - we will start with van Dijk. Tell us how cool it is what he did. It will get uglier and uglier of course.}

I'll start. He took vvd for dinner in a restaurant in blackpool. Thus the tapping up saga. :D.

{Ed002's Note - It is illegal, it cost Liverpool between £15M and £20M - entirely unacceptable. The fans love it that he went on strike - hardly the model professional of course.}

Why so keen to rehash a topic that has been done to death and only ends in vitriol toward Ed2?

Klopp lied to Grujic about playing time and lied to get him a work permit. Klopp also tapped up Virgil and has done a number of other things that can be considered unethical for want of a better word.

Don't get me wrong, I love the guy and how he has turned us into title challengers but ignoring the above is just naivety.

Too true Benny. For some, if he wins us the league the ends will justify the means and all will be forgotten.

I also remember 2 more incident during kloop time one involved keita and other involved the 15 or 16 year boy from stock city academy for which we face 1 year ban to sign youth player. So their are clearly known example but because he is our manager and we are continuously improving under him it is hard for us to see the flaws in him.

Anyway thanks ed02 for providing us a different perspective.

I really hope he’s learned his lesson. I adore this club bu there have been so many things wrong the last few years in how we’ve conducted our business off the pitch. It doesn’t matter that other clubs do it, I really hate when that argument is thrown out there, what matters is moving forward and attempting to mend bridges with clubs we’ve screwed. The jay spearing matter with Bolton still disgusts me. We got to screw both club and player for next to nothing. It’s incredibly hard to defend the club when you hear stuff like that.

But Ed, surely he had to wine and dine him in order to convince him to come to the part of the country that you like to label as the “wastelands”? ;)

Football is plagued with all sorts of shady happenings and people’s actions you can start at the top with FIFA and go down the list. But football is one the greatest sources of enjoyment for ordinary people throughout the world. I don’t doubt things are not always done correctly at the club levels but I am pretty sure what Klopp has been guilty of is quite common, but to single him out I think is unfair. We would all like things to be perfect but this will never be whilst there winners and losers, success and failure. I will continue to support LFC and be ever grateful for the ride with them over many years.

Klopp also tapped up Salah before he came to us BUT Roma did not make a fuss. We just paid them what they wanted and basta to the rest. His behavior on this front has been terrible and as Ed02 has said, it has cost the club tonnes of money and bad publicity. The hope now is that he has stopped doing it.
