Hello Ed's and reds any info has GINI wijnaldum offered new contract and if he not sign will club look to sell or keep him (if he made available any club interested in him) . I really hope he stays.

Thanks all the Ed's for their relentless work to appease us non stop even with our random and repetitive question.

Hope

{Ed002's Note - With little budget to replace Wijnaldum and with Liverpool not looking to keep Grujic I would expect him to extend his contract at Liverpool. Once the season is over I am sure the club will be talking with him.}

1.) 22 Jul 2020 08:42:36
Imo it would be wise enough to keep Grujic (younger, more hungrier, less wages, want to prove a point, decent resale value, successful loan) and sell Wijnaldum. Anything you receive should go into the signing of a good left back cover. It’s not like we are utterly dependent on Wijnaldum.

2.) 22 Jul 2020 09:29:29
I thought Naby Keita was our left back cover, Harry?

3.) 22 Jul 2020 10:34:18
Bullseye. 🎯.

4.) 22 Jul 2020 10:41:57
As eds has said many times keeping keeping Grujic would take up a a HG place in the team!

5.) 22 Jul 2020 11:51:59
That would weaken us, grujic has never been involved over a season with ideas klopp has instilled in this team, gini has and is a vital cog in how we function, he's also a large step above grujic in quality and realistically selling grujic could likely bring in more money. Why risk bleeding in a new untried player to replace an experienced proven hard working important player who is top quality, and still has a few years left in his tank to continue his level. Should city look to move on De bruyne or Chelsea replace Kante as both are same age. I'd hate to see issues with gini contract as with only a year remaining we would be forced to lose him for a lot less than his worth to us. Let's not take him for granted simply because he doesn't stand out and excite when doing his disciplined job.

6.) 22 Jul 2020 11:59:11
There’s a world of difference between Grujic and Wijnaldum not least that Grujic is unproven in the PL and lacks big game experience. Gini starts most games - I wouldn’t be too confident going into next season with Grujic replacing him.

{Ed002's Note - Grujic is a very good player and has a great deal of good experience in Germany. If Liverpool are not going to bring players through they may as well just cherry pick one or two youngsters, scrap the loan system and sell the rest on each year.}

7.) 22 Jul 2020 12:09:43
the only way to gain experience is to be given the opportunity.

8.) 22 Jul 2020 12:56:07
Grujic needs to be given a chance in our team. He was given promises when he moved to us and we need to deliver on them.

He has shown in pre seasons to being a good player and has first team experience in Germany. He could well be a very good replacement for Hendo in the future.

9.) 22 Jul 2020 12:56:23
Stone, the comment above was about replacing Gini with Grujic. I assume you would be equally happy to sell Salah and bring Brewster in?

10.) 22 Jul 2020 14:22:25
The biggest issue is going to be the HG quota I think. The issue is not replacing Wijnaldum with Grujic (both non-HG) , but to see how to replace the departures of Clyne and Lallana (both HG) from the squad. Fix the HG quota first, and then see how Wijnaldum and Grujic fit in, into the squad. I'm for keeping both Wijnaldum and Grujic (work permit permitting), but solving the HG puzzle comes first.

11.) 22 Jul 2020 17:09:09
IDREAM, you are missing the point. I said no such thing. I was just stating that he needs to be given opportunities in order to gain experience. No hidden meaning and not a call to replace Gini.

12.) 22 Jul 2020 21:29:38
Wijnuldum most underrated player in the team.

13.) 23 Jul 2020 00:48:12
Fair enough, Stone, and i agree with you that kids need game time. The suggestion above that Grujic replaces Wijnaldum is a risky idea, in my opinon.

14.) 23 Jul 2020 12:24:49
cheers idream. sorry for the misunderstanding.

15.) 23 Jul 2020 19:39:41
1. Resign Wijnaldum
2. Sell Grujic
3. Give Jones more opportunities.
4. PROFIT.

16.) 25 Jul 2020 04:38:34
So many players this season though have come back from successful loans and not kicked on. Lookman never looked like Everton was right for him, reiss Nelson not getting a sniff for arsenal, angelino for city, perreira for United all looked great last season but just not showed to be able to fit into their clubs.

Klopp might see Wilson and grujic as these similar players not suited to us just like he's shown with Kent or Danny ward who were rightly moved on despite having good previous loans.

Hello Ed01 would like to request you an article on current PL managers.
It seems there are a lot of top managers in PL and some upcoming like Wilder, potter and Nuno it is very informative to know what is you opinion on each one.
Detail article would be awesome if time not allow a summary will suffice.
Thanks all the eds for the hard work they put day to day.

Hope

{Ed001's Note - I have added it to the list for you mate.}

Its 3:30 am in morning and I don't want to sleep. Thanks god, kloop, all LFC players, reds in stadium and across the globe.
Surreal, amazing :-)
YNWA.

Hope

{Ed0333's Note - I’m embarrassed I questioned that team sheet.

1.) 07 May 2019 22:19:25
Every fan does that's what being a fan is we can all have an opinion. but I hope we, well I know I have might question some players ability but will never question there desire, hunger, passion call it what you will. that's a bunch off players that love playing with each other, and for L. F. C.

As a fan I think that's all you can ask.

This is a question for ed002 as new deloitte money league published yesterday while observing the same I realised that despite having our revenue grown a massive 90m euro still I see why you said we are not really very sustainable as I see our wage bill in 2016/ 17 season is around 242m euro and recently we renewed all our biggest stars so wage bill must be close to 300m euro and we need to have amazing seasons like last to compensate the transfer fees, agent fees and wage bill of sqauds.
Do you see us becoming financial sustainable or it could come back to hunt us.
Sorry if question is inappropriate
Thanks YNWA.

Hope

{Ed002's Note - The wages are not that high just yet because FFP limits them. Liverpool need to sustain CL football and deal with their debt but right now they are in good shape - but they must not get carried away.}

1.) 24 Jan 2019 14:42:15
Thank you sir.

2.) 24 Jan 2019 16:47:50
That is great to hear Ed. We should just continue to try and improve each year. Champions league football is a must and improvements on the pitch will lead to increased revenue in all areas.

I can see us breaking into the top 5 teams in terms of revenue within 2 more seasons.

3.) 24 Jan 2019 17:12:17
We have s reasonable shot at getting Champions League qualification this season all being well.

Looks like we might get a good deal on kit sponsorship sorted out

Need to close the gap in the income streams with the Manchester clubs. We have a much larger global fan base than Citeh and we should look to match up to United by being a better product on the pitch so we can improve our commercial value.

4.) 24 Jan 2019 18:41:04
Speaking of kits deals has anyone heard any word on that? The manufacturer etc?

{Ed002's Note - There is no deal yet.}

5.) 24 Jan 2019 18:50:16
Hi Ed002, does the FFP depend on profit or revenue? I know it is probably a lot more complicated but I was just wondering in basic terms. Thanks.

{Ed002's Note - Neither - it relates to another set of accounts. FFP for wages relates to percentage growth.}

6.) 24 Jan 2019 20:53:15
We need to avoid 'no deal' with a kit manufacturer at all costs.

7.) 24 Jan 2019 21:01:34
But would you prefer a hard sponsor or a soft sponsor?

{Ed002's Note - Viagra?}

8.) 24 Jan 2019 21:04:23
Can you honestly see NO kit manufacturer not offering a deal to supply one of the biggest football clubs in the world with there kit? We are in a strong position on and off the pitch at the moment. So the club will be able to negotiate the best deal for the club stoneage.

{Ed002's Note - It is about money - nothing else.}

9.) 24 Jan 2019 21:54:26
No deal is better than a bad deal!

{Ed002's Note - They can always wear the high-vis bibs.}

10.) 24 Jan 2019 22:53:48
I just hope the kit deal isn't with Nike. I think their kits are aweful. Just an opinion.

{Ed002's Note - The Chelsea kit looks like a large flock of seagulls caught them just before kick off.}

11.) 24 Jan 2019 22:59:06
Or skins Ed?

{Ed002's Note - They can wear condoms if they want. Sure.}

12.) 24 Jan 2019 23:16:29
Unfortunately thou Ed002 that's what all aspects of football is all about nowadays. £ is key to success.

{Ed002's Note - I am not sure all, but for the shirts, yes - with the proviso they are red.}

13.) 25 Jan 2019 15:33:44
For me this money league is a load of rubbish. City are only so high up due to their dodgy deal with Etihad for FFP purposes.

14.) 25 Jan 2019 12:59:19
In what way does Chelsea's shirt resemble an 80's Liverpudlian new wave and synth-pop band catching them before kick off Ed002?

{Ed002's Note - I had to think about this as the 80s are way after my time. Google helped}

Ed01 Maximilian Philip was very good for Dortmund before the injury shame they sold him.
What do you think him as a player.

Hope

{Ed001's Note - I have not seen much of him to be honest, just Bundesliga highlights, so not enough to have an opinion on him sorry.}

Also a quote I read that klopp goes to future and out of possible 14 million ways only way to win is to injured salah and firminio on purpose

One other is
1 leg : infinity war
2 leg : Endgame

I have seen meunier interview during world cup where he said that mignolet is the most hard working player in the Belgium squad. The man might not be the best but one thing no one can take away from him is he is a wonderful fella and very hard working player. I don't mind if he agree to stay LFC as a second choice.

I also remember 2 more incident during kloop time one involved keita and other involved the 15 or 16 year boy from stock city academy for which we face 1 year ban to sign youth player. So their are clearly known example but because he is our manager and we are continuously improving under him it is hard for us to see the flaws in him.

Anyway thanks ed02 for providing us a different perspective.
