The crowds at Argentinian games are awesome, most fervent support in the whole of football perhaps. But there’s some terrible trouble off the field, shootings and all sorts.

Booing your player for something that most likely the media made up for views/ reads? Hope Rabiot leaves and mskes and outstanding carrer somewhere and goes back to hit them bad on CL final. Pathetic fans.

{Ed002's Note - What do you think the media has made up?}

Interesting to see we are 10th on the wage list. More proof the owners are more than willing to invest in the squad. Although I do expect a few outgoings soon.

Cheers for that ed, but mad about successor lined up, might fall apart when they shunt Delaney out of the role as head of fai. Have a great day mate.

{Ed001's Note - it is an odd one. Clearly just thinking it worked for England so let's do that, but it was different circumstances altogether. They should have either gone for Kenny or not, now they have made it look like they are not fully sure about him.}

I’d prefer him to get a longer spell in the under 21’s like Brian Kerr did, I alluded to it a couple days ago. They are very similar and Kerr did an incredible job but he did it over a longer period. There was a bit of media pressure to get Kenny in so Delgany obviously thinks 2 years is long enough on both ends which sounds a little foolish. Like you said, maybe he’s thick enough to believe it worked for England when they are two massively different jobs. 4 years would have been far better but hey, let’s see what happens. At least the interviews will be entertaining.

{Ed001's Note - I do agree with you in that he either goes long term into the U-21s or should not be there.}

Whilst I am glad to see Kenny in the set up, because he's the only person we could've got who isn't tactically stuck in the 1960s, I'd rather just install him as senior boss now.

It's also not exactly showing faith in McCarthy by putting him in as a short term option.

"Yeah, Mick you can the flak if having to cap about 10 new players doesn't work out, and then we'll stick in the bloke we really want. "
