So many people still doubting klopps transfers. If we sign Shaqiri for 12m, back him as him and Wilson will be great back up for mane and Salah.

Remember not too many on here where happy with robertson/ mane/ Salah when they signed, or we paid too much for VVD. How have they all turned out?

It's clear that Shaqiri has issues but he also has many qualities and if klopp can get him firing and hungry to succeed then we have got a bargain.

I do love how Shaqiri is getting such bad press from our supporters already, I guess they all spent last season watching Stoke?

I'm not entirely convinced but the quoted price is - pains me to say it - is almost a bargain in this day and age.

The Ox,
Salah,
Matip.
Karius,
Mane (first friendly I knew we had a serious player. He is the key to our excellent front 3)


But I'm not happy about shaqiri, and it's not really about his ability.
He is inconsistent because of his over sized ego.

Let's be honest, you need a replacement for each position - if it's shaqiri And Wilson then it's okay for me. Solanke for firmino then 6 for the three cms place, hendo, Fabinho, Keita, lallana Milner and wijnaldum - maybe fekir too. Is that bad? I don't think so! It's adding clear quality to a team that got to a champions league final.

Its not in Shaquiri's interest to not bust a gut if he signs. This isn't Stoke, he's already up against two Worldies in Mané and Salah and if he doesn't put it in when he gets a chance Klopp'll leave him to rot. let's face it the transfer fee is a bargain for an experienced international. doubt he's coming for the money either as i doubt were paying him much more than Stoke. Worst case he's true to form, is a lazy bugger and gets shipped out next summer replaced by a returning from loan Wilson whereas best case he surprises us, buys into Klopps ideas and works his socks off to become another inspired signing.

Prince I was at the Tranmere game after he signed and could see he was phenomibal. But year after year under klopp we have worried about signings and have been surprised so let's see what happens with shaqiri.

Thank you salah. I reckon klopp is good at turning decent players in to very good players. He would probably do the same with shaqiri. I can't get past his comments about his TEAM MATES. Awful.

Jimmy boy, salah wasn't inconsistent at roma! He was brilliant, that's why we signed him. He wasn't played as a striker really. They had a different style. Dzecko scored tonnes of goals and it was salah's job to supply him. Bit like Kenny I guess. Mane too.

Salah was so inconsistent for Roma that Roma won't even do business with us cos they are still sore we got him on the cheap based on what Klopp did with him last season. Yeah, Salah was SO inconsistent that the club and fans would do anything to get him back today esp. Dzeko, who with Salah as his foil, was the top scorer in the Serie A in 16/ 17? That Salah? You must have been watching the wrong player, man.

Eh Brover where did I say he was inconsistent for Roma? Go look at his games for fiorentina and chelsea. Also there was a reason he was our 4th choice.
