Ty ed it seem that doping went under the radar in football but its coming out a lot now, do u think the side effects is getting touched slightly and going down like a ton of bricks and holding the wrong place you got hit, suarez did that a lot in yesterday game.

{Ed001's Note - I think there is a different kind of cheating involved there.}

Yea its happened a lot in the world cup this year, the only player i saw get kicked down and got back up with no rolling bout on the floor was kante.

{Ed001's Note - Kante is the player that should be held up as an example to all young players, in almost every aspect of his career. I am sick of reading about how Mbappe and Pogba were brilliant yesterday - Kante carried that team again, as he has done since the tournament started. Without him in midfield they would have lost to an abject Argentina.}

Morning Ed, thanks mate.

{Ed001's Note - very welcome mate, hope you enjoy your day.}

Thanks Ed, you too mate.

{Ed001's Note - a couple more 4-3s would make it a good day!}

Couldn't agree more Ed, can't believe what Chelsea picked him up for. Have a good day.

{Ed001's Note - I personally believe that, right now, the debate over who is the best player in the world has been put to bed. Kante is absolutely immense, despite being only 2 foot 6 inches tall. The guy may be shorter than just about anyone else on the pitch, but his game has stood head and shoulders above the lot of them. Added to that he plays the game in the right spirit, giving everything to win, without resorting to rolling around and playacting. If anyone deserves a Ballon d'Or award it is him. He has carried Cesc Fabregas all season and now he is carrying Paul Pogba and still excelling.}

I agree ed 100% awesome player love watching him, and it shows you havnt got to be big to be a top player in midfield another underrated player, as he not a known superstar when he been the best player in the world cup so far in my oppinion.

{Ed001's Note - there is not one player around who is more deserving of the tag 'world class' imo. He could step into any team and it would immediately be better.}

Yea he proved that at leicester and then chelsea, i can see chelsea selling him to get a superstar in his place, have a gd day ed and thanks a lot 4 what u do on here.

{Ed001's Note - I doubt Chelsea would let him go easily. That would be the stupidest sale of all time to let him go for anything less than a fee that makes Neymar seem like pocket change!

Cheers tim, take care mate and have a good day.}

Can not agree more with your sentiments about Kante Ed001. An amazing player. He was the one player we should have thrown everything at the summer he moved.

{Ed001's Note - he wanted the Chelsea move so it might have been difficult to persuade him, but I agree, we should have tried.}

Kante is incredible, he kind of reminds me of David Silva, City rely on him and without him their engine stops same goes for Chelsea without Kante. The difference he makes is unreal, fantastic player.

Can't believe there was a bidding war between arsenal, liverpool, United, city and Chelsea.

We just all just let them buy the world's best central midfielder for 30 mil, after taking Leicester to the f@#kn premier league title haha.

Unreal.

I totally agree on Kante too.
The rest of the French team want taking down a peg or two hundred, but you always feel that they've got several gears to spare whoever they meet.

Kante is pure class and the main reason Leicester won the league. If keita ends up being half as good we might do something special next season too.

I have to say this is the best world cup for drama and entertainment i have ever seen. I hope it continues!

With you as well, Ed on the Kante tip. He spent his time carrying Pogba all game yesterday as he was dreadful once again vs an Argentina team that is the worst I have seen in my time watching the WC (my forst was Mexico '86 when I was 10). People talking about Mbappe BUT without Kante, there is no Mbappe, end of. Kante is just a beast of a player. He is capable of ruining an opponents game plan all by himself and not only did he carry Fabregas at Chjelsea, he has been carrying Pogb for France and before that, the hapless Danny Drinkwater. Imagine that. He actually made a hapless player like Drinkwater an England international. He is indeed world class. As for his attitude, I watched a documentary of him and his background on L'Equipe TV Mag and it will make your heart melt. Kante is a much better man than he is a footballer as if that was even possible.

How on earth was Pogba 'dreadful' yesterday? Typical.

I thought Pogba had a good game, same for Mbappe, but Kante and Matuidi were the two stand outs for me.
