Thanks ed. One player we definitely want to steer clear of. Loving the articles at the mo. Thanks again.

{Ed001's Note - cheers mate, I agree, he is utterly unsuited to the way we play. If he was 21 then he might have the potential to improve and learn but he is 25 (I think) so I don't see much chance of significant improvement.}

Agree with you 100% Ed. Not good enough for a team with ambitions of winning the league.

Wow are we really supposed to be after someone with such limited ability
I don't watch Burnely unless they play us so I would not know and trust the ed on this one
Thank you for the write up ed
I know you rate Ben Mee what makes his so better compared to James if you don't mind me asking.

{Ed001's Note - reading of the game, positional sense, lack of that rash tackle in the penalty box and intelligence. And he is much much better on the ball. Mee should be going to the World Cup as the central defender the team was built around.}

That is a big statement ed and one I trust you on
could you possibly drop a hint to Mr Klopp please lol.

{Ed001's Note - I would hope he knows better than I do!}

Cheers Ed. I've seen the lad play but not enough and I haven't really focused on him as much as I'd like to of so it's hard for me to talk about the lad but I'll trust your judgement on him. One to definitely leave alone by the sound of things. This lad and Shaqiri linked with us somewhat concerns me.

{Ed001's Note - welcome mate.}

Cheers for the write up ed, absolutely love these player profiles, keep them coming!

{Ed001's Note - very welcome SS, going to try and get more done over the next few weeks.}

Ed01, it is ironic that Ben Mee does not get signed by bigger clubs YET it is his much poorer CB partners like Michael Keane and potentially Tarkowski that bigger clubs look at. Goes to show what type of scouting criteria people use to scout players' potential and sign them. I have been watching Mee a lot this season since you posted on here that he was the better than the other two and frankly, I agree. Mee is calm, collected, good on the ball, a leader and is rarely out of position. In fact, he spends a tonne of time covering the gaps being left by his CB partners YET like I said, it is them that bigger clubs look at, not him. Go figure.

{Ed001's Note - he does the simple things well and that means he doesn't catch the eye as he is not having to make so many eye-catching challenges.}

If he is good at one on one defending, which I think is he key in our system off the ball - as we are probably mostly hit on the break, then is their not potential for him to improve his positioning in our system?

{Ed001's Note - no, because all he wants to do is drop deep first, which would cause major problems.}
