The disappointment has subsided a little after our loss to Madrid and I am left with an immense pride in our club for being European Cup finalists. The world is talking about liverpool again.

Man City go in to the new season as champs but in a way I see us as top dogs and I guarantee you before the game city would have swapped their title for a shot at the european Cup and europes elite were envious of Liverpool fc.

I agree and I see us as top dogs too. At the stage we got to in the CL every team wants to be there and when your Man City, PSG, Barcelona etc you're expected to be there, they wasn't, we was. Every team are afraid to face us now, especially City, we know how to exploit their weaknesses and I bloody love it! .

All eyes are on us next season. The players we've already brought in, Keita is quality everybody says Fabinho is so I'll take their words for it, and a couple more added to an already great squad? we're laughing. Bring any team on, I think we'll hit the ground running and really go for it to prove a point this coming season.

I’m hoping for Madrid in our group now and hoping we can dish out a top performance against them and get the final out of our minds early on. That being said, if we do draw them I’m quite sure I won’t be happy at the time 😂😂.

Totally agree Walter however I just can’t see Madrid reaching the final again with the players they have. No team is that lucky regardless of the “decisions”. I can however see few teams able to deal with our strikeforce again next year.

I hope the stories of Salah asking his representatives to engineer a move to Madrid are not true or we may face a Real Madrid team with Mo Salah in the strike force.
