VvD has trained with Southampton all be it away from the frist team today. he's not on a private jet, not in a Mercedes van, he's in Southampton. Looks like he will remain there.

1.) 30 Aug 2017 14:20:35
training last about 2hrs, we have up until 11pm tomorrow.

2.) 30 Aug 2017 14:22:36
Aren't they on a international break?

3.) 30 Aug 2017 14:23:15
international break mate. Doubt they're even doing first team at moment must if not all will be away.

That being sad I do think it is highly unlikely LFC will get anyone else. Maybe Ox but that'll be it.

4.) 30 Aug 2017 14:23:25
Just because he has turned up at training does not mean that he will not leave. He has always turned up at training, just been told to train alone. Which has been the case for the last few weeks.

5.) 30 Aug 2017 14:29:29
Clubs still train in international break - just depends whether he is in the Netherlands squad.

6.) 30 Aug 2017 14:58:58
It's not happening, it never has been.
This goes down in history as "the VVD window".

7.) 30 Aug 2017 15:01:22
These are international qualifiers for the World Cup. Serious stuff. Who's going to call up a player for these games, when he hasn't had one single competitive football game in 7 months? It's okay to have wet dreams about the guy (VVD), but come on.

8.) 30 Aug 2017 15:06:49
It really means nothing. Ox looks almost definite yet he played against us merely a few days ago.

9.) 30 Aug 2017 17:50:55
I've got a friend who works in finance and does some work for the saints, he's also a saints fan. so pinch of salt needed here or a bucket load, but he is absolutely adament that Southampton will not, under any circumstances sell VVD to Liverpool. They are still seething and it will make a mockery of their complain to the FA. Be interesting to see if money talks if we do make a massive bid mind, but as it stands. VVD will never play for Liverpool, unless he goes to another club first.

In fact, it looks like us directly getting any more players from Southampton in the next few years is now a massive no go. He also went on to say that LFC are fully aware of this and haven't even re-opened any negotiators with Southampton over VVD as they know it's an impossibility. This same friend also said we will sign Clyne 6 months before it happened but also said we were close to signing to Rodriguez so he's certainly not in the know. Fingers crossed though, if we do get him I'll buy him a "Mary Poppins" T-shirt!

10.) 30 Aug 2017 18:36:23
I agree with your mate HMF ๐Ÿค.

Might be level but England should be three ahead. Minus the Tunisia penalty it's been comfortable. Better finishing and this could be a very good win.

1.) 18 Jun 2018 19:51:44
Well said my dude.

2.) 18 Jun 2018 20:23:39
England are bottlers overpaid chokers.

3.) 18 Jun 2018 20:31:32
Jordan Henderson take a bow son the only Englishman with any credit from this game. Captain knobhead has been a selfish git.

4.) 18 Jun 2018 20:32:35
50m for sterling was robbery on our part.

5.) 18 Jun 2018 20:34:25
Footballโ€™s coming home. sorry my mistake that should have been the England team on the first flight ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚.

6.) 18 Jun 2018 20:36:08
Hard to argue with that assessment.

7.) 18 Jun 2018 20:38:42
This is purgatory.

8.) 18 Jun 2018 20:40:01
Where was Harry the great on that free kick? Ashley Young? Captain coward, would he pass on a penalty too then? What a leader, maybe he was hoping it would brush in the wall on the way in ๐Ÿคช.

9.) 18 Jun 2018 20:43:01
This match is absolutely turgid. Never been so bored in me life. Thought they might play better with less attention and pressure but nope! Fair play to Henderson though, he hasn't been bad.

10.) 18 Jun 2018 20:50:07
Why did it have to be Kane!

11.) 18 Jun 2018 20:58:38
Rashford should start over lingard, drop sterling in, sterling is not a striker, give him the space to run at people - plus lingard has been awful for 25 years barring a good two months.

12.) 18 Jun 2018 21:00:08
Coz 2 yards out heโ€™s a great goal hanger ๐Ÿค.

{Ed025's Note - hes a great player and thats why hes captain, hendo was ok though and not the worst player on the pitch..

13.) 18 Jun 2018 21:12:19
I fell asleep the whole second half bar the goal. Was we as bad as everyone saying?

{Ed025's Note - second half yes..

14.) 18 Jun 2018 21:17:25
Henderson was not great he was ok. Kane did what goalscorers are supposed to do. The players who I think performed well were trippier, Lingard and the 2 subs Rashford and loft is-cheek.

{Ed025's Note - except for lingard i will have that klucas..

15.) 18 Jun 2018 21:22:10
England were dire BUT so was France and esp. Germany BUT Brazil is the only one I think played very well even tho they did not win. Apart from Neymar's disgusting play, I thought some of the movement, passing and precision from Brazil was very good to watch. As for Jesus, I have NO idea how BObbie is being benched for this guy on current form. He may be a young player and very good BUT frankly, Bobbie is a much better than he is right now.

{Ed025's Note - yet another red tinted view brover...but i like the way you back your own mate..

16.) 18 Jun 2018 21:32:47
Surely you donโ€™t think Jesus offers more to that Brazil team than Firmino would Ed025?

{Ed025's Note - obviously the brazil manager does so im taking his opinion over the red tinted warriors on these pages johnny.. :)

17.) 18 Jun 2018 21:46:36
We all know better than the Brazil Manager Ed025 ;-)

{Ed025's Note - i have no doubt about that johnny mate..

14 Jun 2018 09:43:22
First four games of the season very winnable. Could have the perfect start before Spurs away in the fifth game. Makes a nice change from playing all the other contenders I the first ten games.

1.) 14 Jun 2018 10:16:52
Agreed mate I'm quite chuft with that.

2.) 14 Jun 2018 10:28:15
I don't know why but every single year we draw absolute stinkers for the December 29th - Jan 1st fixtures.

Arsenal (H) and Man City (A) in the space of 3 days is not easy!

The first 3 games definitely gives us an opportunity to get into some rhythm though. Shame the pointless international break will ruin it and we'll draw 3-3 to Leicester first game back ๐Ÿคฆโ€โ™‚๏ธ.

08 Jun 2018 22:52:38
So pleased for Sir Kenny. He deserves this for a stella career and his work with the Hillsborough families. Take away the football career, for what that man did for the Hillsborough families which ultimately took an emotional toll on him so great it nearly broke him, he deserves this.

07 Jun 2018 19:37:53
Good luck Trent lad.

1.) 07 Jun 2018 20:04:45
Buzzing for him, I hope he has a blinder.

31 May 2018 12:30:22
So just days after beating Liverpool for thier third straight and thirteenth title in all in the CL/ european cup Zidane leaves Madrid. It's a funny old game.

1.) 31 May 2018 12:45:14
To protect his ego? Or maybe thatโ€™s me being sceptical ๐Ÿคจ.

2.) 31 May 2018 13:08:07
He's not a tree. He's not glued to Real Madrid for life. ๐Ÿ˜‰.

3.) 31 May 2018 13:53:16
Zidane steps down as VAR is introduced!

4.) 31 May 2018 14:03:25
His comments did sound an awful lot like he was quitting football, not sure if that's just the translation but he was definitely talking about what more he could get from football rather than from Real.

5.) 31 May 2018 14:09:43
Maybe he doesn't fancy the challenge of rebuilding the squad.

6.) 31 May 2018 14:44:51
Nailed it.

7.) 31 May 2018 18:08:11
He'll be back in football.

Freshst, I'm sure the altitude in Liverpool will not be an issue for him, it's hardly La Paz.

If that is the case and Can leaves with Nabby arriving that will leave only GiGi, Hendo (if fit), Ox and Lallana for midfield as Nabby is cup tied for CL is he not? Oh hang on when Griezmann signs we can drop Bobby back deeper! Sorry couldn't resist.

Arsenal have had a string of players refuse to sign new contracts thereby forcing Arsenal to either sell them or let them leave for free. RvP, Ozil, Sanchez the three names that spring to mind, might not be actively forcing moves there and then but makeing sure the club sell or loose out on hundreds of millions. Then Spurs have had Bale and Modric go to Real as soon as they came calling, did they force the move, maybe not but only because they were told they could leave when they asked, who knows what would have happend if they had been told no. Ronaldo went to Madrid after he was promised by United if they got one more season he could go the next year. Would he have forced a move if he was told no, who knows. Chelsea have had Costa refuse to return to the club, that was a mutal thing in the end but he was never going to play for them again as he did not want to. It happens to all clubs at some point. LFC have lost Sterling to City and Torres to Chelsea who granted there wage demands, And Suarez and Coutinho to Barรงa. A dream club for South Americans. If a club comes in and says we will give you what ever number you want as a wage or it's Madrid or Barรงa unfortunately players will have their heads turned regardless Of The club they are at.

Love him or hate him Klopp is a man who knows what he wants. I can't see him agreeing the transfer of one of his best players (apparently it would only happen if he agreed) to be told, 'oh and by the way, use what you have to cover it'. Surely the powers that be have said if you agree to the sale we will allow you to pursue x, y or z now to not necessarily replace but Pip but replace one first team attacker for another.

Arsenal have been confirmed as offering 92 million. I cannot see us matching that for Lemar and Monaco are tempted by that. I think if the deal is being done it is with Arsenal.

I hope the stories of Salah asking his representatives to engineer a move to Madrid are not true or we may face a Real Madrid team with Mo Salah in the strike force.

What?! Did you see our bench on Saturday? So our Midfield as it stands is Hendo, Gini, Milner, Ox, Fabinho and Nabby. Can is off and so I would assume is Lallana. Why on Earth would we sell Hendo. He may have to fight for a place but we need as many quality players as possible. Surely all that has been done is Can leaving and Fabinho coming in.

I'm sorry but Ramos didn't deliberately injury Mo. I have been in the Octagon with Jiu-jitsu experts who couldn't grab, roll and dislocate a shoulder like that. It was an accident, unless of course Ramos has been trained by Royce Gracie for the last year and mastered the Kimura, whilst moving, and being the wrong way round. Liverpool lost due to two shocking errors by the goal keeper, a lack of depth on the bench and a stunning goal.
