Ed002/ 01

Hi gents,

My question is in reference to Rangers and Liverpool 'potentially' being a feeder club to them because Gerrard is now at the helm?

I recall one of the Eds explaining I believe it was on the Chelsea page how Chelsea have a good system going on with developing their young players at a particular club which I can't recall. Which Liverpool in the past haven't been to successful with and im not sure if they have one.

Are you aware of any potential players that Rangers are linked with from Liverpool either loan or to buy from Pool?

We both know Gerrards heart is at Liverpool, so its a catch20/ 20 could work well for both.
Would you think so?

Cheers
Tommy T.

{Ed001's Note - Gerrard would like to take a couple of youngsters to improve his team, such as Harry Wilson, but it is not simple as them becoming a feeder club. He has a job to do and wants players that will give him the best chance of winning.}

Regarding loanees to Rangers. Players such as Kent and Wilson could benefit from a move to Rangers both are better than anyone currently in that team as attacking midfielders/ wingers. Those moves though could be as risky as hiring SG though, massive impatient fan base that could turn quickly against them if they don't hit the ground running. I know a lot of Rangers fans and they seem to think that SG is on the same level as Guus Hiddink or Beilsa. This move will make or break Gerrard. If it were to break him I wouldn't want any of our youngsters to get broken with him.

Wilson should be playing at a higher standard than rangers as should Solanke

Maybe Kent.

Woodburn or Wilson would do well to get a full season under their belt in professional league. We probably only have space in the squad for one of these to get any meaningful game time.

I can see Woodburn going there and if he tears it up, coming back a much stronger player. Wilson I suspect may have really benefited from the Hull experience and kept as a backup and for cup games.

Wilson and Solanke are both too good for Rangers. If either go on loan it should be to a team in the Premier League or a promotion chasing Championship team that play football rather than rugby. I'd want the same for Woodburn too. Kent could go there though and Ejaria.

Wilson and Kent would do well at rangers imo, solanke and Woodburn need to stay patient at Liverpool. Woodburn will break through next season I reckon.
