Disappointing yesterday always hate loosing to the mancs . I think we lost the match giving possession away in midfield cheaply. Hopefully Keita sort that out a bit . currently watching Inter Napoli and putting a watchful eye on Jorghino (a rumoured target ) more of a conductor of play, controlling team shape and tempo a lovely passer and a good engine . I'd be chuffed if we could get him, I think he and Naby could give our midfield a new dynamic.

1.) 11 Mar 2018 22:01:22
Lol we can dream mate, him and Naby in the midfield would improve us drastically, we have the best attack in Europe in my opinion, with a midfield like that we'd be laughing, sad thing is, I really can't see us getting Jorginho.

2.) 11 Mar 2018 23:33:09
I still think we need a midfield enforcer someone who is big strong and help the defense rather than a creator of goals. This is where Kloop get it wrong to an extend, he has players who can run with the ball (Can, Wini, OX) or the creators like Lallana but other than Hendo there is no one who can out muscle and out smart the opposition attacking midfield or attackers. what we need is someone like Nididi and play him at #6 postion, then you can either have your 2 runner (#8) along with him or a # 10 and in matches where we need you guys to protect the backline then we can go with new #6 and Hendo. I know a lot of folks won't like this old school attitude but a lot of good mangers still use this theory of building the team from the back. Mourinho does it and his midfield completely out muscled and out smarted our attack and midfield.
I think Kloop stubborn makes him lose the plot, yesterday after 10 min and before the goal even the commentator said the same thing that Utd are targeting TAA and Kloop either did not notice it or did not care to rectify it.
The way we play we will entertain a lot of people and get applauded for the style but will not win a major trophy in the first as easy as we can get to a quater or a semi final, the reason being whenever Kloop will meet a master tactitian who has ound out the way we play we are doomed as we play only one way.
There have been a ot teams who had played entertaining football like newcastle under Keegan, Leeds under Oleary, Valencia under Hector Raul Cuper but crumbled at the last lap the reason being they play only one way.

3.) 11 Mar 2018 23:40:45
Aye. very impressive there in an entertaining 0-0 . Hopefully he's the player Klopp wants and the owners go out and back him ah la VVD. Jorghino playing into our current forwards would be a dream right enough.

08 Mar 2018 21:42:33
Watching RB Liepzeg right now, to get a good look at Naby Keita. Chuffed we've got him coming he's very mobile, doesn't muck about taking too many touches and as I type just made a driving run and perfect pass for their 2nd goal . Looks like he'll be a great fit .

1.) 09 Mar 2018 02:55:33
Mate I agree he will fit in perfectly, he just needs to change his attitude a bit which I think he will do once he joins us, he doesn't want to be there and must be counting down the days. Other then that though he's a fantastic player, we have a lot to look forward to with him joining.

2.) 09 Mar 2018 07:58:28
Actually Salah, that attitude of his on the pitch is one of his best assets. He puts himself about abc us a real nuisance, getting in peoples faces is a huge part of his game.

3.) 09 Mar 2018 08:44:37
I'm more concerned about his attitude off the pitch FranklyMrShankly. But I do believe he'll sort it out once he comes to us, we have a close knit team the last thing we need is somebody coming in and disrupting things. We had enough of that in Balotelli, Sakho and Suarez. We are hopefully getting rid of Clyne so we'll be free of fools.

02 Mar 2018 13:25:10
I've just read an interview with Andy Robertson by James Pearce. He comes across really well, grounded, hungry and determined to work hard to succeed. Hopefully this kind of attitude goes right through the squad .

1.) 02 Mar 2018 13:51:26
That's just it mate. It seems like the whole squad have that attidude and are more determined then ever to succeed, they have the confidence, they want to win and are getting the results.

2.) 02 Mar 2018 14:00:41
I'd like to say, When we signed Robbo we was all a bit sceptical about him. Underwhelming transfer, and we was looking over at Arsenal a bit jealous because that Kolasnac was looking like a great signing.
Well I watched him last night and he was getting absolutely ruined everytime City went down his side. Now Andy is running rings round the lad in terms of ability. He's a cracking signing.

3.) 02 Mar 2018 16:53:51
LFC8, I was never jealous of Kolasinac or any other German league player Klopp does not sign. Why? Very easy. Klopp is a guru in that dept. and knows these players inside out so if he does not wanna sign any of them, he knows hem enough to say they don't fit the way we play hence, won't or can't make us better. If he thinks that player can help us, he will sign him. See Karius who is now improving and Matip (tho having a splintered season) was very good last season overall. I will defer to Klopp on this topic every single time. Kolasinac is average and looks more like a body builder than a footballer.

I may not have been thrilled w/ Robbo BUT he is improving and provided he keeps his head down and continues to learn from one of the best coaches around (not just manager) in Klopp, he'll be fine.

4.) 03 Mar 2018 00:17:40
I was lucky enough to have seen the great Emlyn Hughes play for us, and he was great,
part of his his play was his fantastic drive forward, now that Robbo has settled in at left back,
he reminds me quite a lot of yozzer Hughes,
and he will only get better,
today, Klopp was saying that he could be the future captain of Scotland .

{Ed0333's Note - Susan Boyle could captain Scotland mate that’s not such a glowing endorsement of the deity that is Andrew Robertson.

On a brighter note after yesterdays shocker check out the U23s 2nd goal vs City tonight . Gomez crossfield ball to Wilson flicked on to TAA through ball to Woodburn for a tidy finish .

1.) 25 Apr 2017 03:34:22
all potential 1st teamers for the future.

2.) 25 Apr 2017 08:14:41
Check out Gomez goal line clearance as well. Great defending.

3.) 25 Apr 2017 09:27:24
Meanwhile, in the first team, Lovren happens.

4.) 25 Apr 2017 11:01:46
I wish wilson was getting a shot though. what has the kid got to do?! Fingers crossed for next season. How much do you rate Woodburn eds?

{Ed001's Note - good little player. Still got a lot of work to do to be ready for regular starts though.}

5.) 25 Apr 2017 14:22:16
Gomez will get his chance very soon, he will do much better than people think .

6.) 25 Apr 2017 22:07:53
To be fair mate, I think most people expect him to do well. He looked good in the first team before his injury.

15 Jan 2017 20:26:17
8pts away at Chelsea Arsenal Spurs and United decent total if you ask me . We just need to get through the next few weeks then we should have our strongest team available again for the run in . Exciting times ahead for us Reds. The academy is looking like it is going to save us millions and we're showing great spirit and fight on the pitch . Hopefully this will be our year but if not it's not too far away

1.) 15 Jan 2017 21:12:15
As much as I agree with the sentiment of this post the one thing I hate is the saying just could be our year

2.) 16 Jan 2017 07:47:49
one game at a time please lads, Plymouth Wednesday followed by Swansea Saturday lunchtime. Trent Alexender Arnold I thought did very well and can be well pleased with his display.

Cool ed 25 pinch of salt taken lol . If you had watched the last 2 Celtic Aberdeen fixtures plenty of free flowing attacking football with loads of passion thrown in, it seems like a lack of finance up here that is making the game suffer when League 1 clubs are paying players far superior wages than the SPL.

Only played I Scotland that is bit of a slur a quality player is a quality player whatever league they play in. Teirney has probably played in more European fixtures than the whole Everton squad combined btw ED 25. But it won't matter as Teirney is in no hurry to leave Celtic at this time anyway.

{Ed025's Note - i am actually a big fan of scottish football liddleland...when i cant get to sleep i always put it mate im only jesting as me and ED007 take the rise out of each other so take it with a pinch of salt mate.. :)

Considine over Tierney, Billy? Considine has had a couple of good seasons but I've got to disagree with that, nowhere near the kind of quality I'd be hoping for at Liverpool. However Tierney won't be leaving Celtic this summer although imo he'd be the perfect fit.

I think Robertson would be a good addition to the team . He's made his way to the Premier League the hard way pretty sure he wad released by Celtic as a youth then ended up part-time at Queens Park even working for the Hampden Park box office before being signed by Dundee United where his performances led to being signed by Hull. Great attitude, still young enough to become better, tactically astute and has good delivery from the left side . It annoys me a lot of people on social media sneering at the possibility of this move probably because he doesn't have an exotic surname, but for me I'd be chuffed if Robertson signed for us . A hungry Premiership ready young International natural left back who would understand what playing for Liverpool is all about.

Derby been moved to the Saturday now . not the draw I wanted but it's cup football now . We know we can beat them but we're well aware they can beat us too, hope we can do it but I'm nowhere near confident about it 🤞.

I feel that City have been handed the title on a plate. Only us and maybe Burnley have had a go at them too many teams have played cowardly damage limitation tactics against them. They are a really good side and KDB is one of the best passers in the world. Maybe if a fee teams had a go the points gap wouldn't be so vast .

Similar performance to last week versus the Hammers. What I liked most about today was, we weren't brilliant but when we gave possession away 2 players are right on it to get the ball back .
