I find Robertsons journey remarkable.

2012 - He was skint, needing a job.
2013 - He was playing in the Scottish third division.
2017 - Relegated from PL with Hull
2018 - In the CL final with us.

He has adapted so well at the top level and I honestly never thought he would, I was gobsmacked we bought him and didn't think he'd be bugger all at the club, so very happy I was wrong. He needs improving but overall, he's sound as a pound and deserves respect. In 6 years he's gone from the bottom to the top by working hard and he's now made a name for himself, well done kid!

He is doing really well, room for improvement of course but a steal at the price Liverpool paid for him.

He is without a doubt my biggest positive surprise of the season.

Salah - most of us wanted him in 2012 when he went to Chelsea because we saw something in him. Granted he has totally outperformed expectations, but we had an inkling he was someone special.

Ox - most thought we had overpaid, but saw enough of a player there, especially thinking back to his Saints days, to again get an inkling.

Robertson - who? "We miss out on Mendy and so buy this non-name as a squad filler?! WTF?! ". Most people (me included) would rather we had stuck with Milner!

What a complete revelation! Mr Robertson, I have duly eaten my hat.

Salah, I can see why fans would find it hard to see how Robbocop would get into this Liverpool side, and deserve to stay,
but I always knew that he would make it, Robbo has a bit of Yozzer Hughes in him, and that time last night were he threw the full back onto the track, has bit by bit made him a fan favourite,
and he is still young enough to improve even more .

I wasn't that surprised about Robertson I was chuffed we signed him having watched him play a few times for Scotland. It just goes to show where hard graft and a good attitude can take you. The 1st time I seen him play for us actually being at the match was the 1-1 draw with Burnley. Coutinho really annoyed me that day Robertson took up great positions a number of times and it was like Coutinho was refusing to pass to him.

Always had faith in him and took a lot of stick for questioning why he didn’t play more at the start of the season.

The rumour was that Coutinho and Firmino wouldn't pass to Robertson so to keep Moreno in the team.

He’s far from the finished article but he doesn’t seem to suffer the same brain pauses Moreno had. He will keep improving in attack and defence if he keeps fit and works hard.
