I don't really think we can use today's performances as a measure as we looked even worse against Everton. However we proved last wed on our day we will not just beat anyone but thrash them. However we will need to be at our best on tue night.

I'm kind of nervious, but I belive we will score at least and make it hard for City. Not sure if we'll take a win but I belive we are capable of.

I agree with matrolfc. I'm a little nervous. I'm taking nothing for granted. Man City will be steaming mad Tuesday. We'll have to be at our best to progress. I'd rather be in our position than theirs though.

Why use today’s game as a barometer we were pretty awful against palace last week and Wednesday turned out ok.

I think the key is to not concede an early goal, having said that, we conceded two late goals in the league game at Anfield and nearly a third.

If we score an early away goal they need to score five, so physiologically it will be tough for them.

We are going to need a big performance on Tuesday, City are more than capable of scoring three, especially with Aguero bsck, this tie is not finished yet.

I agree man city are quite capable of scoring 3 or more and I expect them to score 1 or 2 but we are in a good position will have to up our game from weds performance tho . Just hope salah is fit and we score an away goal or two.

No worries Jc I read quite a few Liverpool fans say that City's wheels had fallen off after losing to Utd so my comment was more based on them than our game. City are still a top team regardless of their last 2 results. But also like yourself I believe we have what it takes to beat them again on tue night.
