Match day lads! Let's hope we can get some revenge tonight!

Looks like Mane has an outside chance of starting, and it's easy to forget he was universally regarded as our most important, if not our best player just 8 months ago.

Bobby certainly will be playing and in my opinion he's been just as good as Salah this season.

For me though, this could be a big chance for Solanke, Van Dijk and Chamberlain to endear themselves to the Liverpool fans. They will all likely feature, and a big performance in a derby game will win reds hearts, everywhere.

Good luck to all the lads in red though! Let's squash this toffee, and then scrape it off our shoe and onto the curb where it belongs!

Mane is massive for us, a bad month doesn’t change anything. Plus he’s hardly been awful just a lot quieter than he has been for the last year at the club and I think Salah performing so well has put even more shade on him.

8 goals and 5 assists in 19 games is a pretty solid return for a player who is out of form and unhappy. Think we overplaying and playing Dr. Phil too quickly. He just needs to find his rhythm and confidence. He'll be fine.

Mk I honestly think solanke needs bringing on either when we have a good goal cushion and we’re playing with decent amount of confidence as I think there’s to much pressure on him to open his scoring account. I’d rather we started off with Ings up front and then bring solanke on after 60/ 70 mins.

Last season Mane was our best player and after not passing one ball against Everton he has apparently become one of our weakness's this season if you ask some fans. Although he hasn't hit last years form he's still been better than some players who we seem more than happy to praise after a decent performance.

Good shout barry, neither can I. And to be fair, is there any real rush? . Swansea or huddersfield away could be a good time to give him a run.

That's right Jayden, it doesn't ttake much to swing a fan's opinion of a player towards extreme negativity. contract talks stall. transfer talks. not passing to open player. ed1 makes a negative comment. player has resting b**ch face (d. cisse, balotelli. ) etc etc.

Fair point pegleg, but he's more likely to break that drought if he's starting games. It's very rare that a players who comes off the bench after 70 minutes actually scores. 20 minutes is barely long enough to get up to the pace of the game.

I don't really mind if he's scoring or not. He is good at holding up play and bringing others into the attack, and he works hard pressing from the front. As long as he's doing that, i can have some patience with a 19 year old in terms of scoring goals. He is a real presence who occupies defenders, and that leaves space for others to score goals.

Get Solanke on and get the best players around him and he'll score. Too often been part of a more experimental system. Firmino, Mane and maybe Oxlade up top with him and he's got more chance to get going.

I've a sneaky suspicion VVD will start. Klopp seemed genuinely undecided in the press conference. I think he wants to start him at least but is not sure if he'll be ready.
