Im not bashing henderson here but if i had to choose between him going or can going, id pay hendersons bus fair for him.

Look at the way we play when Hendo is out vs when Can is. That is your answer on who should stay if the issue should arise. Hendo every day of the week for me.

Don't get me wrong, Can is a really good midfielder, but he lacks a bit vision or ability to dictate play. Hendo makes us tick, Can provides spark and energy.

Both very good players and little point in trying to pick holes on a particular player. I really hope that Liverpool and Can come to some sort of agreement and he signs a new contract. I really wouldn't want to see him leave, especially on a free next Summer.

Now if id have said henderson is like a crab (in that he makes a lot of sideward passes) and slows play down, loses possession too much and knocks aimless balls forward, then yes it would sound like i was bashing him, but i only said if i had a choice between the two as i think can could take hendos place in midfield then id choose can

Obviously i've written the above for a reaction as i didn't agree with the response i got from others to my opening post, im simply stating my point of view that i would sooner can get a new contract and that if i where to choose a midfield 3 it would be keita, can and winjnaldum on current form, i really do believe he is liverpools weakest link in the middle of the pitch, before his injury he was a very good player, but still not a captain or liverpool standard player imo.
