There's still a lot of uncertainty ahead of the season, will there be any unexpected departures? Who will be our starting CBs? Who will start in midfield? What formation will Klopp use? How will Wiji be used? How will Ings be used? Will our youth players get any pitch time?

I find it all rather unsettling and I'm now wishing the next three weeks away. I cannot wait for the season to start.

I know you're still a big fan of Brendan, but surely this is an uncertainty we need, and haven't had in recent years? Selection dilemmas are the best kind of dilemmas!

Under Rodgers, for almost his entire tenure the team picked itself. If fit, Sturridge, Sterling, Coutinho, Skrtel, Gerrard, Henderson, Moreno, Sakho and Suarez played. I mean you can forgive that for Suarez. He would start in any team in world football because even an off form Suarez is in the top 10 players in the world. An on form Suarez can make Messi look average.

But under Rodgers you just knew who he would pick all the time. It was predictable and the lack of competition shone through as soon as we had injuries. Klopp had to deal with his average squad for the first 8 months of his career here, so I'm glad he is being given the backing to change things, and bring back that uncertainty over who will start. We haven't had that since we had Carragher, Skrtel, Hyypia and Agger fighting to start. Or Gerrard, Lucas, Alonso, Mascherano, Benayoun and Sissoko.

The overall quality of the squad has just fallen away over the last 7 or 8 years.

Not being able to guess 90% of the starting XI is definitely a good thing! Don't knock it buddy!

A like the injection of pace we've bought for the counter attack. And the front 4 has me excited and hopefully matip and karius sort our defence out. Can't wait.

Looking forward to it, we've made some improvements in the squad and the players have had a decent pre season together.

Muscat, MK is right. You seem to be unsure and uncertain since BR left and Klopp came in. I wonder why? I suggest you substitute your uncertainty with excitement as now, we have interchangeable players that offer different things. Under you boy, we were predictable and our squad had similar players, a problem Arsenal suffers from. Get ready for the season and be excited, Muscat. Leave your "uncertainty" at the door.

Think a few of you misunderstood my post, I'm taking about nervous anticipation. I've had enough of transfer speculation and talk of who will play where, i just want the season to start now.
