Does anyone else see Can as a potential future captain?
Granted he's still a rough diamond but he shows all the attributes to progress to be something special and his maturity on the field at just 22 is outstanding.

He missed a penalty in the semi against Stoke so definite "no"

Can plays with a fire in his belly due to his German culture and Turkish roots. That`s a guy I want on my team any day. Captain? Slow your roll, mates. I wouldn`t go that far.

Henderson is only 25 himself. not even had a full season as captain yet and with Gerrard returning I would bet my bottom dollar he over shadowed Hendo on certain club matters.

as ed 001 has said if he grabs the game by the scruff of the neck more often he would be even better, i'm a big fan of can, I look forward to him improving under jurgen klopp, at least he is finally playing in midfield.

I like Can could certainly see him as a possible future Capitano! But i also could see Flanno there. Only time will tell!

He missed a penalty against stoke but then grabbed the ball for the very first penalty against city and calmly slotted it away. So I don't get you're point to be honest Ron.

I am pretty certain that Ron was being sarcastic, Griff.

I know its the lowest form of wit, but the poor chap has got to start somewhere ;-)
