"That attack would be absolutely devastating. "

it wouldn't mate- cos' 2 of those 3 couldn't hit a barn door with a banjo. you will get some fabulous movement- but the expectancy of only scoring if it falls to 1 of those 3.

Akshit our own Teixeira is great, but he got like 5 goals in a season at Brighton. Alex Teixeira is banging 20+ a season in a much stronger league. Earier this season he put 2 past Real Madrid. J. C. Teixeira is a great back up to have who may break in as a regular in the future, but also may not. Alex is light years ahead of him right now though. If we can sign Alex but don't, it is an absolutely shocking decision. In todays market, he is worth €50m. that's about £38m. We paid about that for Andy Carroll!

1 out of the 3?
Coutinho scores goals when fit and when he has players actually making runs around him.
We have all seen what firmino can do when the team is set up properly.
Imagine a fully fit Sturridge ahead of them 3!

Dom67 Coutinho and Firmino are young and improving. Coutinho can easily become a 10-15 goal a season player and Firmino has scored over 20 in previous seasons. You need to appreciate how young Coutinho is and that Firmino is still settling.

You give that trio a pre-season to build up some chemistry and I could see them getting 40 goals between them. Get a 20 goal a season striker ahead of them and we're title contenders again.

Their movement would give defenders nightmares!

From the first time i spotted young Alex Texeira playing football with Coutinho on the internet 2 minutes ago, I've been telling everyone that its obvious he was going to be a first class footballer. Unless he goes to chelsea in which case i will deny everything.

i understand the sentiment but 50 mill euros is just way too much. vardy was banging them it, y not buy him then. alex tex suiting in a system for shakhtar doesn't account for much because its a different dynamic at lfc . firmino coutinho hvnt set pl on fire, we hv benteke so is no reduced to a sub, there are certain players that are destined for greatness and when you pay 50 million euros you buy those. Also shakhtar doesn't play in the toughest league. All things considered 50 million is just too big a sum to bet on. if we can move players then maybe a shot but we are already thin with injuries. also alex texiera won't save this season for us anyway. i understand players from shakhtar usually fair rather well but if they sell at a good price its all cool but 50 million is just no deal.

Just on Coutinho Dom67, last season he got 5 premier league goals in 35 appearances.
This season he has 5 goals in 17 premier league games.
His shooting is still a bit erratic but he is showing a clear improvement to the goal scoring side of his game. The only problem is that he may leave if we don't get CL football. Then maybe JC. Teixeira could step in on the left though as they're similar players.

How can you compare him to Vardy? Vardy has had a good 11 games at the top in his career. He looks rubbish again now.

Alex Teixeira has been scoring double figures for about 5 seasons. Vardy is 29 and Teixeira is 26. Vardy is a striker, Teixeira is a midfielder. You've lost me there mate.
