Everyone watch what city and Utd spend this summer and then tell me ffp is one working and two a level playing field!

Sooner we get taken over but a group with money the better because fsg cannot catch us up with the big boys

I don't think you understand FFP mate. I'm sure if you ask nicely Ed002 will tell you what to put in the search function so you can read his write up on it.

In real basic terms, if you make more money, you can spend more money.

Thanks EMS, appreciate the kind words mate.

I hope Wisdom is given a chance as I think he could be a beast of a central defender!!

If we were to sign Montoya, Kovacic(pretty much done) and Higuain/Aubameyang I will be a lot happier than I was a few weeks ago! I hope we spend all the money from any deal for sterling on a top drawer striker, just not Benteke!!! Signing a direct replacement for RS seems a bit of a waste to me. I would give Ibe/Markovic/Origi/Ojo game time in the wide areas, all of whom could do better than Sterling did in the last few months of the season just gone.

FFP will be scrapped - everyone knows it!

FSG are paying just as much on transfer fees as the Manchester clubs and Chelsea. It is not their fault that on the field, we are not doing well enough to keep a hold of our 'star' players such as Suarez, Sterling etc. These players are then sold and we have money to spend every summer, made available by the owners. However, their organisation of the club is a bit more questionable at the moment.

If we didn't waste so much on players who don't fit or basically are not to the standard required then Ffp would not even be an issue. There lies the problem.

In fact, we have spent almost 400m on players since the owners took over and have nothing to show for it. That is way more than Chelsea and the rest of the top teams have spent in that span so don't blame the others for us being poor at what they have been doing.

Hmm we have recouped a lot of that 400 million though in outgoings. 125 mil on Suarez and Torres alone. FSG are not going to return Liverpool to the summit like they promised

carlitoc, that does not change the fact that we have spent 400m on players.

If net spend is what you are referring to then I suggest you go back and study revenue and expenditures under Econ or Accounting 101 because clearly, you haven't grasped any of that yet.
