If lucas does leave this month? Will we look to replace him or most likely wait until the summer? I no we have a few mods but with hom and Gerrard gping we look a bit light in the centre?

We are still in 4 tournaments. We need depth. and lucas is not a squad player now, he is a regular starter. Letting him go right now without replacement will be a crime.

{Ed002's Note - Can is his replacement. Liverpool are not using a large number of players they have.}

I'd rather get shot of Allen, he doesn't offer any where near what Lucas does.

BR has ruined the players he doesn`t like. He is sabotaing those he doesn`t like just to prove a useless point that cannot b proven through hard evidence. GJ, Allen, Enrique are no longr good enuff to be even on the bench YET when they come back fit, he will bench those that are performing well just to place his favs on the field who will surely fail as they have failed all season. He has sabotaged Lucas, Suso and almost got shot of Sakho (who has fought his way back into the team and is now aour best CB). As a post said earlier, BR will learn nothing from these improved results and will revert back to his old and boring footie w/ the old and useless guard in order to prove his worthless point. I hope I am wrong BUT I can`t see it.

Lucas looks solid at DM with someone energetic like Henderson alongside him to track runners off the ball. Agree 100% he should stay (provided Gerard is played upfront and not alongside him), his experience and solid tackling adds a lot of balance to the side.

He may not be the best visionary passer in the world, so agree that perhaps over time Can will play the holding role, but at the moment we need his experienced head and Can looks very useful at right back, he was far better than Lovren today.

Playing Can at Centre-back or Defensive Midfield is really failing to utilise all of his qualities - he is good with the ball, good at rampaging forward, he has the energy to be a box to box type player - why we would restrict that is beyond me. And playing him as a centre-back when we have 2 defenders whose combined cost was around 40million is just insanity.
