A reporter probably so I'm wearing blue and put two and two together.

Although I'm gutted that we'll lose out through our own stupidity on VVD, I'm happy for Chelsea to take Oxlade Chamberlain rather than us waste money on him.

Frankly, that's the first message of yours I've actually agreed with in ages! It's still the mildly depressing eeyore-style we expect from you but I agree that Ox wouldn't be a good addition.

We will land van dyike, relax. Won't look stupid when we beat watford 3.,0.

Love hearing about all these players we shouldn't get because their not good enough or should get because their world beaters. Seriously just think about it. Mane Not good enough. Karius to replace Migs. Wijnaldum not good enough. Clyne is a world beater. Henderson not good enough. Lovren is the commanding centre back we need. Lallana is class, no wait he's useless we need to sell him, no wait he's brilliant now Klopps here! It's constant tooing and throwing on here. If he comes he comes, and whilst personally I think he's a decent player, we really have no idea how he may or may not fit in under Klopp or another team in general. Sometimes players just work in some teams/ systems and not in others and I think ox would be far more suited to our game than Arsenals. Either way just support the team.

Kiwikop whether he is better than Moses is an irrelevance to me. He's not good enough for the position he thinks he should play in, as he's convinced that he should be a centre midfielder, which plainly he is not and never will be in a month of Sunday's.

I can't really understand the point you are trying to make there, Westwood so I will just say as a matter of opinion with some evidence to back it up as many agree with me on here, Ox is a shambles of a player, a failed winger cum wing/ fullback who sees himself as an automatic starter in CM. Talk about delusion of grandeur. He's awful, pure and simple and Chelsea are welcome to him. He can fight it out with the other average wingback i n Victor Moses.

Im not sure if you guys are familiar with Instagram.
But Ox, has "liked" a comment of a liverpool fan saying "Ox to Liverpool 28million"
You do have to scroll through these comments. It couldn't be accidental.

Either way, im really exited if he came.

Also, if VVD does come in, or go somewhere else.
He wouldn't be playing for a while if he's been out injured and hasn't played any game time?

Precisely Bingo. He is a very average winger who thinks he can play in centre midfield, contrary to fact and reason. Just watch the games against France and Bayern for England and Arsenal and you will see a player completely out of his depth. He lacks the skills and intelligence to be a top class centre midfielder and we should avoid like the plague. My worry is that we sell Coutinho and buy Oxlade as some sort of replacement, that would just be sickening.

I have to agree with Westwood regarding the way we 'fans' treat players. Great signing one minute, crap the next and vice versa.
He is right because picking a team is like putting together a jigsaw. Your have your core of experience, creativity, match winners but you also need the doers. Unsung who break things up, bind the team together etc. Collectively they give us a team. Victor Moses didn't fit here but that doesn't make him a crap player as he was part of the unsung Chelsea champions. That is a fact. If Ox or anyone else comes that does or does not meet fans desire who cares. The proof will be in the results achieved. Its part of the ride and actually exactly why we have this forum - to generate our views.

Oxlade isn't what you would call a doer either, he doesn't make many tackles and doesn't make many interceptions, like I say, he looked completely out of his depth in centre midfield for England and Arsenal, players ran past him for fun and he didn't have a clue about positional sense. The comparison with Moses isn't really a good one as Moses wouldn't get a game at Chelsea were it not for being played as a wing back and there is no way that Oxlade would make their centre midfield either, he would be carted out to wing back. Oxlade is just squad filler at best, surely we have had enough of that over the years? Is it not about time we bought some quality to improve our starting 11?

Talking to a diehard gooner at weekend, they rate the Ox and it would appear they're not alone on it among Arsenal fans. Bit surprised but maybe you have to see him regularly to appreciate it.

Pate, Ox is individually a very poor player. No amount of spinning will change that appraisal as I am not the only one who has that opinion of him. You can hide him in a particular system to caufgt out his inherent flaws just like Chelsea did with Moses an equally poor player but the facts don't change. Our system is not one where players can hide. Just ask Lovren who was well protected by Morgan and Wanyama at Saints and he comes here and looks like he can't tackle a chair. See how that works?

The point I'm trying to make is that people right off players without giving them a chance to prove otherwise. It like people would want him fail if he did sign just so they can say 'I told you so'. I'm recognising (IMO) that Ox's pace and power is much more suited to our game than Arsenals. Finally I think we need to trust Klopp. If he sees something in a player then I'm fine with that. How many on here slate Robertson when he's hardly even kicked a ball? It's like ed002 says everyone craves the 'marquee signing without considering how that may hurt the team dynamic, or jigsaw as mentioned above. None of the Pl winning Leicester team were world beaters (kante excepted) but they got the dynamic right and played their game well. Far more important to get a world class team than a team made up of 11 world class individuals. I think the Ox, for all his faults, could fit in with us. Maybe I'm wrong, but I wouldn't slate him as rubbish just because I don't see what our manager clearly does.
