If the Echo are to be believed, Looks like Andre Wisdom will be joining Celtic after Liverpool knocked back their interest in Joe Gomez.

A lot of Liverpool fans are actually a little bit miffed that Wisdom never truly got his chance. Managerial changes and failed loan spells have derailed the lads progress.

I think he'd be a good player for your club north of the border, if given the chance to play regularly and settle into a healthy environment. He was always thought of as a CB until he started playing RB. I'd still like to see the lad given a chance at CB but maybe there are reasons for his conversion?!

He's a worker, he's not going to be the best player but he's no nonsense and grafts. I really hope the lad does well if he moves to Celtic. Just my opinion on the Wisdom.

He would be good at Celtic, not Liverpool material though, didn't make enough noise at Norwich to warrant a chance imo.

He is a good player. He'll definitely do a good job for Celtic.

His level is high championship, low Premier League so he would do well in Scotland.

Thanks guys. That makes me feel a bit better haha. The problem being he'll be fine in our league but it's whether or not he can make the step up in Europe. He's still young though so here's hoping.

He's a good player both north and south of the border but was constantly played out of position and his confidence took a massive hit. A hard working footballer with a fairly good football brain.

As has been said, lower PL level player, which is no bad thing and he won't be atrocious in Europe if given regular game time. As others say, very odd if BR wants him now why the ffff didn't he use him when he had the chance?
