I see the FA/ PGMOL are trying to prevent us getting to the final of the league cup by putting Simon Hooper in charge for the second leg!

I wonder how many sendings off he will invent or legitimate goals he will disallow this time!

The guy was so bad they had to change the refereeing process and he is rewarded with a cup semi final!?

Isn't it amazing that this same VAR that feels like deliberate controversies are generated around it to increase viewing of Webb and Owen show is being used seamlessly at the ongoing AFCON with no recorded controversy yet? ???.

Disagree TB2. It's hard enough pipping City to the title without losing 3-5 points from two glaring errors and having little confidence that it won't happen again. Coote Hooper and England should never ref top level games again.

Spot on, RedFlyer. City are more than good enuff to win the title on their own merits and ability, end of. What we cannot have is the incompetence of the referees helping them out not by giving them decisions they don't deserve BUT by robbing their rivals of decisions they DO deserve.

It really is unbelievable . There does really need to be some rules where refs have made historical mistakes, that they get suspended or at least removed from the club they impacted games. That said, I guess we would have no1 left!
