We now at mid point of January transfer market and I can never remember 1 as quiet. Am I right in saying the Romanian cb spurs bought is the only major transfer there has been?
Dare I say it, is ffp Eventually starting to work? having shown they are willing to dish out severe punishments.

No significant players are available in January, shouldn't be a winter transfer window in my opinion anyway.

The January window has its place. It is useful for emergency loans/ signings but it is also the time when it is easier to sign players from the likes of Brazil as it is the end of their season.

I'm sure there will be some clubs making a few signings between now and the end of January (and the standard flurry of panic buys in the closing hours of the window) .

Is it the lack of quality players available in this particular window. Good job we have a squad of about 30 top notch footballers to choose from. We certainly are blessed at Liverpool.
