How is 1st goal by citeh not off side? How is that leg Breckerfeld by Edison not a red card? Strangely red card incident not even shown on most Highlights. Its Show on Youtube by crystal Palace though.

That was not a leg breaker by Ederson Leek I thought yellow was about right to be fair. He’s kicked not stamped and they have clashed shins rather than him showing studs.

The only question is whether he was denying a goal scoring opportunity and I think Mateta had poked the ball too far away from himself for that to be the case.

The first goal did look like it could be offside but it was tight.

Spot on, BP with the offside. I thought Clyne's arse kept Grealish onside and even then, it was tight so in those situations, I don't have a problem with it being given as a goal.

As for Ederson's tackle, it looked really spectacular but in the end, it is not a red as there was no violence in the tackle, IMO. And as for the City fans booing, that's not strange nor . I mean, how many times have we seen that at Anfield over the years when LFC failed to beat a lesser team esp. the way City did vs Palace? Countless times.

I don't see the difference between Ederson's foul, and VVD's. Both stopping a goalscoring opportunity.

Elliott Ness, it's funny you say that cos I have just seen another angle of the play and you and many others who calld it a red, are correct. I retract my statement.

That was indeed a potential red card cos if Mateta gets past Ederson, he would have had a chance to reach the ball and shoot towards goal (albeit it from a tight angle but irrelevant) . Or he could have had a chance to play someone else in to potentially scored since only Dias was back there at the time. Indeed, there is no difference btw Ederoson's tackle and VVD's tackle on Isak.
