Ed001 can I get you view on the supposed Salah interest? Figures flying round saying upwards of 100m for a 31 year old seem like a hefty amount, but this is salah we talking about and I haven't seen a decline from when he first arrived here. I know every player has a price but replacing him at this current time adequately jus seems impossible. We have been guilty of not replacing players at right times and letting contracts run down or loose any real sell on value. Would you consider the offer for salah at this current time or are u firmly a NOT FOR SALE answer. Sorry if you been asked this a million times before mate ?.

{Ed001's Note - firmly not for sale right now.}

At what price might that change ed? I am going to assume even Mo has price. Reports saying he would like to listen to what they would offer, any truth in this? Thanks in advance.

{Ed001's Note - I have no idea sorry.}

I imagine there’s a magic number that for a 30/ 31 year old, no matter how good he is, that LFC will accept.

I’m not saying sell, but, we are not a club with a bottomless pit of money, on that basis I think there is a number.

Club has said it has had absolutely no contact from any Saudi club or any club for that matter. All absolute rubbish.

It is bound to happen that the Saudi’s come calling after the PL (and other Euro windows) close.

I’m a rangers man lads just popping on for a your if a change and yous are my English side,
I would think if you’d kept salah this year the Saudis would still likely pay £100m next year for him anyway.
Bit short time wise to replace him with quality, I’d suggest osimhen, prob too late in the window to do the deal for salah and get someone like osimhen in .

Kew17 is very right. There's always a right number. We're watching the highly rated, 21 year old Gabri Veiga (one of the players we were considering) pack his bags for the Saudi League now.

No doubt he is highly motivated by the superlative quality and competition in that league, so that he can continue to grow and become a better footballer ? (do note the sarcasm, and I'm not trying to demean the Saudi league; the more leagues the better for progress in global football quality) .

Absolute nothingburger. No magic no. or nada. The club has said as much. The Saudis and frankly those chomping at the bit who want Salah sold cos all they see is the money we can get need to keep it moving.
