Certainly have to pull something out of the fire quickly now.
Absolute minimum is a midfielder, ideally a dedicated DM or a versatile player, and then rely on the younger back ups for the rest of the positions.
It's been a good long while since we were in this kind of position, I'm thinking of the lack of forwards back when there was just Suarez and Borini.
What was that, 10 years or more ago?
Please please, if we're going to do business, get a younger, mobile and durable signing.
No more of these terrible stop gaps and older players with fitness issues.
I don't care if we have to lash out, there was some good stuff on Sunday and another quality addition would be a real boost.

It's obvious now that we have to just break the bank to get the right players in.

If it's Luis, then we know what we need to do and that's trigger that release clause. Same with Ignacio (if that's an option) .

There's just no more time for dithering, this is going to be a key season for the club and - if we want to be back in the top 4 - we've got a fight on our hands.
