Hi eds, i seek your opinion about 2yr long Jude Bellingham saga. Is it a strategy and excuse by FSG and powers that be NOT to invest for midfielders NOW?

{Ed025's Note - i think its more about his availability lee but the cost will obviously be a factor mate..

Yes, that's exactly what it is. An excuse not to invest. FSG, or should I say F$G, are EVIL and John Henry is the reincarnation of Thatcher.

They're not really going to sell either, they're just going to get another investor into group and Henry is going to keep all the money from that investment himself and use it to buy ivory back scratchers.

Christ.

Who are the "powers that be" if they aren't FSG?

There's no "saga". We, and other sides, are interested in him if he were to ever become available. That's all. He doesn't want to leave Dortmund yet and have promised that he'll stay for this season.

As for not investing in midfielders, that's Klopp's choice. The money was there, as evident by him going for Gakpo in Jan instead of a midfielder. So other than being a troll, I'm not sure what the point of your post is.

If we sign bellingham for 140mill 0ver a 5 year contract it 30 mill a year its nothing fsg just minge bags simple.

I wish I had £150 million loose that I could refuse to spend so you could call me a mingebag too.
Simple is very apt in this case.

Funny someone that can barely put a sentence together saying £140 million is nothing. ?.

{Ed002's Note - I appreciate the Liverpool supporters simply do not understand the finances and the post should have been deleted, but don't whine about other posters when you obviously don't understand either.}

Bellingham, surely it’s a no brainer, he, to quote, is a generational talent, he’s still a teen. Therefore he will have a resale value even after a number of years at the club should we be able to secure his services.

I get that it could be difficult getting it over the line, but it’ll be a win win in the long term.

Problem is, according to the press and the fans, the Bellingham deal is so tied on now, and we are so desperate for him, that Dortmund could ask whatever fee they like, it’s going to be very hard to negotiate that fee down as we seem to want him so much. I just don’t see it happening and do wonder if we could get two excellent players for the same amount of spend anyway.

What saga? He's not our player. We can't decide that he signs for us and when.
