The effort to compile that list is much appreciated. I have been trying to tell posters similar ideas, it’s extremely difficult for the kids to become first team regulars. I would settle for one on the list to become a first choice starter.

As you say you need lots hard work, luck and being Available when needed. I thought CJ had a massive opportunity but he can never get himself fit. Even when there are no matches he can’t get and stay fit. They are not all freak injuries it’s just one after another.

Thanks Exmouth and Mark. As you both say, it's so hard. If 1 or 2 of them become regulars for the long term I'd be happy.

It's a huge shame Jones can't stay fit. He works so hard and has good qualities, but he will never settle into a role if he keeps getting injured 3 times a season.

MKS shocked that you didn’t include Elliot and Carvalho as players you think will make the grade, especially considering the lengthy courtship and feathers we ruffled at Fulham to sign them both.

The clubs behaviour signing these two and Grujic is another negative mark in the book.
